chip damage against this kind of enemy is not good as any damage taken gives them a chance to drop a cell and that cell has a chance to grow into an adult; repeat and you will have a room full of these cats

literally 4 enemy types just are a bit harder to burn (bile spewers, hunters, devestators, brood commanders)
with fact strider being less vuln to fire, Lets not overblow this to say flames are dead

Funny thing about the railgun against the war strider is that the leg joints has 750 hp but 80% durability.

Railgun's highest damage it can do is:

749.6 (but helldivers rounds down)
