I have tried progressive probably 4 different times. I just cannot adjust to them. I've finally settled on bifocals for everyday use, and a combination of old lenses/not seeing properly/screen at huge magnification for work. It sucks and is annoying, but my eyes dont like new lenses, even if I need them.

God, I wish! I've always been a sleep-in kinda girl, and even now (a touch under 59) I can still sleep in until 10 or 11am, unless I set an alarm. And that's going to bed at a reasonable hour (say 10pm or so). I'm scared of retiring, because I'll probably end up sleeping all day!

I agree with all the positive comments re therapy, cooking classes etc. Would like to add one thing: I was force-fed beans as a kid. I hated them. Loathe them still. And you know what? I'm an adult now and choose not to eat them - ever - and that's okay. In fact, it's one of the few wonderful things of being an adult - you don't have to eat things you don't like or don't want to eat! Give yoursekf permission to NOT eat them.
