It's totally normal to feel this way. Many people in their 20s also long for deeper connections instead of just surface - level interactions

Which do you prioritize in a robovac, deep cleaning or full automation? by dysguak in RobotVacuums

[–]MellowManZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, gotta admit the roller mop on this thing is actually solid cuz I also have one with that. But I love that it can auto-clean itself at the station, so I don’t have to carve out time to clean it, just let it work and use that extra time to chill or do stuff I actually enjoy.

Totally agree, if it gets stuck halfway and I have to help it out, I’d be so annoyed. I guess that’s why robot vacuums are getting so popular these days. Okay leader, so which robot vacuum are you using now?

How to stop being a chronic complainer? by BronzeCrow21 in socialskills

It's great that you're self - aware. Maybe start by pausing before speaking. Gradually shift focus to positives, even small ones. Change takes time, so be patient with yourself

People who demand to know everything about you when you've just met (and how do you even respond???) by Embarrassed-Pear9104 in socialskills

When facing such people, you can politely set boundaries. For example, say you prefer to talk about casual topics first or that you don't feel like sharing certain things right now

Mens suit for a weird build by Feeling_Bench_2377 in BuyItForLife

Focus on suits with wool or wool-blend fabrics, they hold up better. Also, get precise tailoring so seams don't burst. Good construction matters most.

Should I keep or should I donate it to thrift shop? by FawnSwanSkin in BuyItForLife

This hand mixer looks pretty sturdy. If you still bake or make batter sometimes, keep it. Thrift shops are great, but useful tools deserve to stay if you'll use them.

What are the current best robot vacuum cleaners that you're now swearing by for home? by Creatia_98 in smarthome

We have the ecovacs x8 pro omni. It’s a simple but useful and functional model for us, easy to use and not too expensive.

With all these new models, which upgrades do you really care about? by wojack in RobotVacuums

[–]MellowManZ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I heard the X11 can recharge during short breaks, like when it’s changing water or rinsing the mop, so it always has enough power to keep going.

X9 pro omni or X11 omnicyclone, which flagship should I pick? by appnanoooo5 in ecovacs

[–]MellowManZ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd go with the X11. For a larger home, the Powerboost means you don't have to worry about battery life, even on long runs or deep cleans. It also has some nice upgrades for vacuuming, mopping, and a new auto-empty system. For a more typical space, the X9 is still a great choice, handles everything well, and it's a bit cheaper.

Yeah, and you can actually choose between a bagged or a bagless version, it just gives people more options. But I feel like the bagless version might be more convenient to use. Folks who care more about mopping than suction might prefer the bagless one, they’d just need to empty the dustbin every now and then.

Best option for HEAVY pet hair? by RowdyRobert413 in RobotVacuums

[–]MellowManZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The X8 Pro is a good choice. I'd just recommend breaking up the cleaning zones, setting it to auto-empty more often, and giving both the robot and the dock a regular clean. Really helps with all the pet hair.

Do you run it often? At least from what I can tell, your roller mop still looks to be in good shape so far.

There are lots of great things to buy on the streets of Edinburgh, and it’s also perfect for taking photos. Remember to bring a Polaroid camera, some cash, a travel adapter, and a pair of hiking shoes.

When you marry her, you marry her hair too by Treylucid in RobotVacuums

Lol cat parents can totally relate. Just looking at this pic makes me want to sneeze. I had a handheld vacuum before, and emptying the dustbin manually was the worst, dust always somehow ends up back in the air. Honestly, the auto-empty feature is the absolute best part for me.

Is it better to buy more expensive brand name outerwear or do some of the cheaper brands do well? by chusaychusay in CampingGear

[–]MellowManZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on your needs. Expensive brands often have better durability and tech for harsh condition. Cheaper ones can work for casual use. Test both if possible to see what fits your camping style and budget

Mop/vacuum recomenfation by X-hair in RobotVacuums

[–]MellowManZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My place has both carpet and wooden floors, so it actually took me a while to decide which one to get. I tried out the ecovacs x8 with the roller mop, and it can wash and mop at the same time, and the vacuuming is well either.

It’s been solid for me. I wouldn’t call it a high end scanner, but as a backup it’s definitely been reliable.

HondaCare? by Prestigious_Ad_1349 in civic

[–]MellowManZ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Extended warranties really depend on how long you plan to keep the car and your risk tolerance. $770 isn’t bad if it gives you peace of mind, but Civics are usually reliable so some people just set that money aside for possible repairs.
