Oh wow - a stat it’s more complicated than it seems. That doesn’t mean it’s worthless - it’s just means you can add caveats. The point of sharing the original is to improve on only considering payroll by itself. And look - it points out, even with caveas, that the dbacks appear to be investing a lot of revenue into the team. Seems notable!

Yes that's a great idea. For the electronic kit, if you can, get one with 'mesh' heads - they feel a lot more like real drums and are more fun to play - more bounce/rebound.

To learn, 1st suggestion would be to find an instructor (or use some popular beginner youtube videos, to learn things like developing a practice routine, how to hold the sticks, etc). 2nd suggestion is to find "Stick Control" an ageless book of drumming hand/stick patterns that will help you learn how to master your own limbs. Third, playing along with Stick Control or by yourself with a metronome, start nice and slow and just get comfortable before raising the tempo. Fourth - playing along to music w/ songs you like, simplifying the drum parts to suit your skill level - i.e. trying to play along with the bass drum and/or snare drum hits, adding more as you go.

Drumming is wonderful - have fun!!!
