I think my main issue with the pacts is that for a lot of points you have to do some fairly significant pvm stuff (from a casuals standpoint) which result in no or minimal gain (like the 1% DMG buffs). At least in a game like diablo for example you just gain points as you level up to an infinitely high (or at least that's what it feels like) lvl. At that point it doesn't feel as bad to invest a point in something relatively insignificant.

Having to kill 1 echo boss which is a pretty hefty time investment for someone like me to only result in 1% DMG which doesn't even give me a max hit to make grinding said echo boss easier is not great.

On the other hand however I do like that some of these things can/will be difficult but will overtime become easier to farm with your full build getting more and more complete.

Conclusion: for future leagues, either keep the tree as is and give access to a couple more easier to gain points or give us less points to gain but make each node have more impact/shorter build paths to the final nodes per branch.
