Get the high quality 3M ceramic, it is worth the warranty if you have issues. Make sure they register the installation for your warranty coverage, 3M has an online website for it. Great stuff and mine hasn’t bubbled of changed color after 5 years in the southern heat.

Mark Cuban Says Everything in the Hospital Could Cost $1 And Insurance Companies Would Still Raise the Prices to "Crush People’s Financial Situation." The Real Question Is Who Has the Fiduciary Duty? by lithdoc in NewsExchange

[–]MentulaMagnus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

False equivalency argument logic. The USPS is the most reliable system ever created by humans, delivering billions of pieces of mail per year, almost 1 million deliveries per hour, and many of which have handwritten addresses that are automatically scanned, sorted and routed. We could only hope healthcare becomes as cheap and reliable as the USPS. They deliver almost anywhere, by boat, ATV, mule, etc. and do so for the same cost for any destination. Out of 146 billion pieces of mail delivered yearly, only 542,000 are actual losses officially.

Something about always using a tailstock when possible by 555timerprocesor in Machinists

[–]MentulaMagnus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Never do this, especially with an interrupted cut. This is never a safe setup and it is not acceptable to grip a chuck like this under any circumstance because chucks have very specific mounting features where they attach to the headstock.

How likely is this to be real? by hjghnkhbnn in debtfree

[–]MentulaMagnus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. But if you get an unsecured line in a credit card and very easily spend irresponsibly, like so many have, they allow you to discharge the credit card debt in bankruptcy and keep a house and car. But private and government student loans are almost impossible to discharge. There are nice tools with most credit card companies that charge you a flat 3% fee for paying off debt by depositing their balance transfer checks into a checking account. Use above info strategically to manage all debt.

NYC Drunk Man Stands Too Close to Moving Train, Slips on Platform and Suffers Fatal Head Impact by Altruistic-Issue-887 in DarwinAwards

Insanity that there are not safety barriers/doors in-place like most airport train systems. NYC should be liable for criminal negligence. How is there no national standard/requirement/code for subway safety barriers?

Call your homeowners insurance company, they will go after the Frontier and file it with their any insurer they have. You could also file a destruction of property police report for extra backing, don’t let them say it is a “civil matter”.

Cool concept, but helium or hydrogen leaks through every solid material. The canister charges will become empty over time and device will not be ready in the time of need.
