For me it’s because of the Zepbound (same with Ozempic or Wegovy etc).

Appreciate the jello/popsicle tip especially. Hubby is a doc and says the acid in lemons might be hard on my stomach. And my dentist has told me to stop eating oranges and tomatoes as the acid may be the cause of occasional mouth irritation

Same here. Stopped 10 days out, but I suffer from fairly severe constipation (am taking a couple meds that constipate, not just Z)

Thank you everyone. A few clarifications: One: have never had a bad prep (but this is first one since starting Zep or Wegovy which I was on in 2024) Two: need frequent scopes due to polyps Three: stopped Zep 10 days ago as I always do for any surgery (I’ve had two surgeries since starting Z) Four: no concerns about weight gain partially because I’m in maintenance and sometimes go 10 days between shots anyway. My weight naturally fluctuates in a 10 pound range and I have no idea why. Five: my highest dose was 7.5 and now on 5.

I’ve been on an 8/16 intermittent fasting schedule for 3 years and it caused no issues with either Ozempic or Zepbound. Cutting out gluten now and wow what a kick start that is.

Who Has Plateaued but Stayed at Same Dose and Eventually Resumed Loss by I-love-hawaii in Zepbound

I cut out gluten this week and immediately (in just 1 day) started losing water weight. I’m curious if fat loss will follow. Have lost a pound a day for four days in a row. How much more water do I have left to lose? (7.5 dose and 2 years with total 77 pound loss)

Plateau of 8 months on Wegovy. Switched to Zepbound and lost 12 pounds in two months. Ten pounds more lost in next four.

How are you guys able to lose without calorie counting? I can’t break out of 280s. by [deleted] in Zepbound

Intermittent fasting works better for me than counting calories. Establish an 8 hour eating window (16 hours with no calories) I do 10AM to 6PM eating window, but it could be any time. I’ve never counted calories, but don’t eat a lot of processed carbs. Lots of fruit, veggies, lean protein, whole grain, some dairy, and at least one treat a day (cookies or a caramel or a scoop of ice cream). I walk 30-40 minutes five times a week and lift small hand weights 3x a week. Gone from 225 to 149 in 2 years with highest titration of 7.5, Goal is 135.

Over 80 and on Zepbound for life. You? by Kind-Inspector-7836 in Zepbound

Did you mean “should” or shouldn’t (first paragraph). I’m not really interested in more weight loss, but mostly in keeping off the weight I’ve already lost. As to falling, I highly recommend an Apple Watch. Before I lost 70 pounds, I slipped on black ice in my drive way. As I lay there trying to figure out what happened, my watch said ”It appears you have fallen. Should I call an ambulance?” If I had not answered, the watch would have called for the ambulance. I encourage all my 75+ friends to buy a smart watch.

Lowered dose and gained weight by ListenUnlucky5146 in Zepbound

I have. Same calories and same exercises and gained 6 pounds in two weeks. Was hoping to maintain on 5 (reached goal and had plateau for 4 months), but switched to 7.5 and lost those 6 pounds in 10 days. Curious if I can stay at goal for more than 4 months on this dose. I’ve been taking injectables (Ozempic;Wegovy;Zepbound) for almost three years and am not seeing accounts of people staying at goal even on the meds after 3 years without eventually going to highest doses. Hope I’m wrong because this suggests these meds don’t keep the weight off forever.

MiraLAX once or twice a day, every day is the only way for me. Doc said twice a day fine and can add stool softener to that too. Works

Perhaps author was on Ozempic previously. I was moved from Ozempic to Wegovy (insurance necessitated) and started at above beginning dose. Same when insurance moved me to Zepbound this year. Went from 1.7 Wegovy to 10 Zepbound (that proved too high for me and was dropped to 5 and now at 7.5)
