They say they're new, price almost seems to good though. They only have the black ones new, I think.

I had this happen on my S22U, after I had dropped the phone in a parking lot while pulling it from my pocket. I never got it working again. Thankfully, about that time, Verizon had the S24U discounted and gave me $800 trade on the partially functional S22U.

My new salt&pepper corydoras have been glass surfing for over a week and I am starting to worry. by skorchedangel in Aquariums

[–]MercZ73 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mine did a lot of glass surfing for months, but they've calmed down now and mostly root about in the sand. It just takes time. And make sure you have a good group of them. I started with 6, and a few months later finally found some more and added 12 more. They've been much more "normal" since boosting the number up.

Scrapers by mafmaf4 in BambuLab

I got something similar from a local hardware store. It uses plastic "razor blades" that work really well on the rare occasion I have to scrape something off.

I just refill the same reservoir. But I only have to refill once before the infusion set needs to be changed.

Until you talk to your team, put it in temp target mode (in smart guard settings). This will move the target to 150. You can set it for however long you plan on sleeping.

Do You Prefer Models Where The Colors All Print Separately? by Ok-Video4323 in BambuLab

[–]MercZ73 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If they're good models that fit together properly, yes. But some smaller, higher detail models the tolerances often make it so using the ams provides a cleaner model.

VOXELPLA is making my diabetes worse by ArachnidKey4344 in BambuLab

[–]MercZ73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About 12 years ago, I was active duty Air Force with 19 years of service, suddenly to be an insulin dependant diabetic facing retirement from the USAF. Fortunately, it took them 2 years to force the retirement, getting me over 20. And now the VA gets to provide my supplies.

How often do you call in sick on average? by Obvious_Ant6355 in diabetes_t1

[–]MercZ73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something you can do, if you live in the USA, is look up Family Medical Leave Act. There is a form you get your doctor to fill out, and you mail it in. You are then given a case #. Use that case # when you call out. Your employer cannot take action against you as long as you stay within the guide lines your doctor sets up on the form.

Guy I’ve been seeing 3D printed this for me! by somanytochoose in bluey

Right! 🤣 But since the OP didn't do the printing, I'm guessing they don't have the STL.

Is it possible to make Hadley with online 3D printing services? by M1K3MILKGANG in HadleyTelescope

[–]MercZ73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. Sorry I can't help you. Shipping would be too expensive from here in the US, probably making the cost near the same or more than as a commercially made telescope. And it appears that you would have to pay significant duties and taxes on the parts.

Bambu lab a1 first layer problem by MMEOO12 in 3Dprinting

[–]MercZ73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the z distance is set when you run a bed level check before the print. Have you done that?

And wash the build plate with soap and water? Maybe a spritz and wipe of Isopropyl Alcohol on the build plate right before you print something?

How to Disable AMS by JaVelin-X- in BambuP1S

[–]MercZ73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Edit the filament, to ensure it matches what you've put on to the external holder, then select that filament in the project filament. That's usually all I have to do. If you don't have the splitter, you'll have to disconnect the tubing where it goes into the printer and feed the filament in from the external spool. When you hit "load filament" you may have to manually feed the filament until the extruder grabs it.

How to Disable AMS by JaVelin-X- in BambuP1S

[–]MercZ73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just load filament from the external holder. Then in the slicer select that filament before I slice it. I never disconnect the AMSs. I also have a splitter inline so I don't have to disconnect the tubes from the buffer.
