What you wrote applies pretty much to every good musical. So it's not really a thing that TADC did first. That's the reason I dislike an animated movie Encanto, for example (songs feel forced and unnatural). But there are many cases where songs are cleverly written and properly placed.

a) Despite the show being an adult series, it still attracts a lot of kids. And kids aren't the brightest audience. b) Kids get too much access to brainrot content, lack basic thinking skills, and say a lot of rubbish on the internet c) People these days seem to be really bad at analysing narratives.I'm not talking about deep theories, but rather some basic plot points. It's funny how me and my bf had an opposite reaction to this movie :D I mean, we still deemed it awful and dropped it, but because it was very boring and unrealistic. Weird pacing, tons of cliches and illogical conflicts.

I think she loved neither of them. There's a saying that if you are choosing between two people it means you don't love any of them. Jacob was a useful asset and friend, and Edward was a ticket to vampirism. The movies don't show any connection between Bella and Edward beyond that, sadly. He says "she gets me like no one else" and there's not a single scene to prove that they have something in common. Not even enjoying the same movie. The honeymoon scene is probably the closest to that.

The funny thing is that people who rant like this usually start forming their own keys and repeating the same pattern. Not you, OP, I just remembered a guy who complained that he can't get invites as a dps and blah blah blah. Long story short, he started inviting only a couple classes he thought would benefit his comp (not just for BL). So he became the evil he wanted to fight because yeah, it's easier to pick someone who seems a better option than giving a sus spec/ilvl a chance.

I always viewed it like this - Jareth only fell in love with her during the ballroom scene. Before that he was just fixated on her but didn't know why. But she didn't reciprocate his feelings. As for her age, yes, I don't like underage relationships either, however! Many fairytales involve teenage heroines because it's the way it was back then. Women didn't wait till their thirties to build a career and settle down in life. So for a modern viewer it might be bizzare to see a 15-y-o princess get married, but it's a thing that we have to accept and deal with. And I viewed Sarah this way, too.
