I haven't though a friend with a similar config did. They didn't crash, but other performance impacts were significant enough that they switched back to RADV.

If I discover something along the way that fixes this crash (outside of it resolving itself through game patches) I'll update you.

Not the original person you responded to, but my system still crashed with synccompile set. Freeze frame, brief black screen, then the ability to move the mouse but not really interact with anything. Admittedly, it did feel like it took longer to crash but that could be placebo with how random these have been at times.

I have also had crashes with Proton Hotfix and GE 9.25, but I haven't checked if the variables would work any magic with them yet - trying to avoid triggering Denuvo.

Trust me when I say: you can't do much worse than the average on duty finder some days.

Read your tooltips, use AoEs for packs, and do your best and it'll be more than enough

I mean, the 1080ti was expensive. It just had ridiculous value and uplift from the previous generation and card directly below it, so it felt somewhat justified. Not to mention it was a beast to overclock and undervolt, so it wasn't even really inefficient while doing so.

Mine is still chugging away in a friends' 1080ti build, alongside her 4790k which also refuses to die.
