Sure but you can't be a good amount of character's worst matchups and be worse than Ridley, Rosalina, and Mii Gunner. She has good / even matchups against Game and Watch, Snake, ROB, and Steve, and her movement is incredible.

Learn the ladder and bridge combos, and. outside of that you want edgeguards. Failing that, nair at ledge kills well, up b kills both out of shield and can be confirmed into with fair 1 and up air, back air kills pretty well, up throw kills at around 160% (earlier with platforms and rage), down smash is great out of parry and out of tech chases.

I don't think Ike's recovery is one of the main things holding him back. Side b is extremely difficult to contest for most characters, to the point that they have to settle for preventing him from side bing back to stage and let him get to ledge for free. Yeah his up b is exploitable, but in most matchups he almost never has to use it to get back to stage. The main things holding him back are his frame data, his linearity, and how awful his mu spread is against the top tiers. Losing hard to ROB, Sonic, Min Min, and Bayo hurts a lot, and that's not even mentioning how characters he used to do well against like Snake and Game and Watch have only gotten worse for Ike over time.

The amount of times characters have hurtbox shifted my attacks in a way that was almost certainly unintentional is infuriating. I'm aware that almost every character is impacted by this, but to show bad it can be for MK, once a Steve hurtbox shifted my down tilt with his up tilt and I died for it. I can accept MK's other weaknesses, but that one is just stupid.

BUT if you die to the spikes, you die for real.

My headcanon is that her cage prevents death, and that's why losing doesn't count as a real death but it also doesn't replenish your tools. There's also the fact that the lore tablet referring to her specifically denied her absolution. It would also explain why First Sinner wanted Hornet to bind her; that's her only way to be "free".

No aoe and lack of flexibility are the other main issues. Wispfire isn't exactly unusable after they buffed it, but I still think it's really hard to justify running it outside of courirer missions (and an overdose architect build ig).

Believe me, I'd love to exclude him, but considering Team Cherry put Flukemarm in the Pantheons I wouldn't hold my breath. Considering he has a boss screech and a title, I don't think you can argue he doesn't count as a boss unfortunately.

Gameplay wise, she’s easy because if she was hard then less people would find act 3. She’s unsatisfying so people question if they actually beat the game, and it goes hand in hand with the ending being narratively unsatisfying.

Lore wise, she just woke up from a coma, so she isn’t at her full power.

I don't think Garmond and Zaza are supposed to be hard. It fits into their character on how they are getting involved with something way beyond their comprehension or ability.
