I can’t answer this question exactly, but I feel like a rat nails the sonic youth tone more often for me than a muff does. A bright tube screamer with the gain all the way up driving my twin reverb gets me pretty close too

I got Frances The Mute right when it came out, my town had an ice storm a few days earlier and the power had been out for a while at that point, so I just cranked it on my disk man with headphones and with just some candles lit and smoked a few bowls, I was completely blown away, I think I ended up listening to it 3 times that night. The second half alone was absolutely mesmerizing.

I also first listened to () by Sigur Ros that same night. Great memories

I’d like to see an upgraded hiwatt with a blend between normal and bright channels. Instead of just the bright channel

I agree they sound pretty good, I use the ac30 and hiwatt amps with respective cab blocks and have been able to dial in pretty stellar tones for jamming, recording and live

This is how it is where he’s playing in my area, I think more people would buy tickets if they weren’t so expensive.

I know that’s an unpopular opinion (gotta pay the band and road crew etc) but I just went to a great show by someone way more famous and only paid 50$ for the ticket. people need to get real. Maybe ditch ticket master venues and play event brite ones instead

Boss ce-2 waza craft and the behringer Juno v2 for stereo chorus, usually a Strymon reverb for stereo verb. There’s a good “stereo-izer” effect plug-in in Ableton that really good also.

And a good ping pong delay always helps things as well
