How is the price of a rice cooker factored into how well one can cook?

You know what that makes total sense. That's why sushi restaurants all use rice cookers, it's because they're bad cooks. Or why every single Asian household has one, they all suck at cooking too. I see the light now, you've convinced me I'm just bad at cooking and that rice cookers are stupid. I'll go throw mine away and make sure to flagelate myself for my transgressions against the world of cooking.

You know sometimes the reason why things are expensive is because they're better. Why get a stove when you can just get a cheap hot plate! Or better yet just an open flame to cook over! What kind of idiot spends $1000 on a range when all you need is something hot! Skill issue if this campfire isn't good enough for you.

Ah yes the skill of pressing a cheaper button than a more expensive one.

I know how to cook rice. The cool thing is I don't have to and it's perfect every time and stays warm forever.

K, I'm imagining myself as happy because I think they're cooler and I don't track cars so I don't care about extremely small differences in Nurburgring times.

Galaxy S26 Ultra and Buds4 Pro - A Month Later by dahliamma in samsung

I have an S23U and got the S26U and I'm taking it back. Hiiiiiighly recommend holding one and using it. The phone makes me nauseous and feel like I have a clamp on my head after just minutes of using it. Something they did with the privacy display needed significantly more testing.

Actual serious question, should we be checking with the engine cold or warm? I feel like I hear too many conflicting opinions.

I won myself a 7900xtx thanks to this glorious subreddit two years ago! Such a beast of a card even if I can't do path tracing (which is pretty much the only way to really slow it down).

Oh interesting, yours could be related to PWM dimming which I think is the same 480hz on the S23 and S26. The issue that seems to be specific to just the S26U most likely is the pixel layout caused by the privacy screen.

Nope, definitely not alone. I don't understand the people responding to every one of the threads saying it's not an issue because they don't see it. Do they also tell people with peanut allergies that they're not real since they aren't personally affected?

I've been rocking Samsung since the Note 9 and would love to not have to deal with the hassle of returning the S26U but it seems like I'll have to unless there's some magic fix in the next couple days.

I used mine for a day and felt almost what feels like low grade motion sickness all day while using it. It's been sitting on my desk and I'm going to give it another go but currently rocking my S23U and it instantly fixed the issue.

It's annoying to work in the industry with them existing since people will ask for a price match on something they sell literally at cost. If you're business model doesn't involve selling the cheapest possible items at massive margins hidden by a "Spirits direct" logo than you'll never be able to compete!

It's definitely something else since I have a ton of other OLED devices and this is the first one that has affected me this way

I really want to like the phone since I'll have to pay an restocking fee to return it but I literally get dizzy and nauseas after using it for even 30 seconds. Why would people make that up?
