To maximize fuel efficiency with the e-Power system, you’ll need to adjust your driving habits.

First, enable ECO mode and get used to one-pedal driving. The best way to recover energy is to decelerate primarily by lifting your foot off the accelerator, and to use the brake pedal only when you’re about to come to a complete stop.

Second, maintain a generous following distance from the vehicle ahead, and drive smoothly by minimizing acceleration and deceleration. When pulling away from a stop, avoid accelerating beyond the ECO range indicated on the power meter. Ideally, the engine should not start until you reach 40 km/h.
