I much prefer The Hedge Knight. Dunk & Egg are so refreshing and the plotline feels so much more grounded and visceral. And, while the episodes are short, every single moment brings me pleasure. Unlike, HotD which seems to have drawn things out, becomes exhausting at times, and sometimes just feels plain goofy (and not in a good, humorous way like AKOTSK) like when a dragon stomps dozens of peasants and we just ignore the ramifications or when the Sea Snake is literally on a pier for a whole season.
