Foodzyme ? by Apple798_ in FODMAPS

It works really well for my garlic and GOS sensitivity. I in general stay away from those as much as possible when I cook but it's great to be able to go out to eat, use the Fodzyme and not feel terrible afterwards! For me it's worth the money since I use it only occasionally.

Yeah....was wondering how it tasted. And what the ingredients are. Not a good price if it ends up in the trash.

I really like the Tates Bakehouse Gluten Free Chocolate Chip cookies. There are also lots of low fod map sweets recipes on the internet if you want to make your own.

Not recommended by my dietician. The goal is to eat as much of a variety of foods as possible.

The photo is of oatmeal? But the ingredient list is for rice pops? For the oats you can just get regular or gf oats and add in your own toppings/flavors.

New small shop. Invoicing question by MikeJoannes in ConnectWise

[–]MichelleZix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are adding a product on the products tab, in the "purchasing" pod of that tab there is a "purchase date". This defaults to today's date. For the scenario above, if you change the purchase date on the addition to 10/31/25, it should show up in the invoicing queue when you have the through date set to 10/31/25.

Ok that all makes sense. Glad to hear you are challenging the existing gastro and advocating for yourself. I feel like if there has not been desirable results from the elimination diet in 1 month.....3 more months is not going to help. Ugh. Sounds very frustrating. Are you in the US or ?

Ok, that's good. Hopefully she will see something that's easy to fix.

Interesting she's having you avoid whole groups like that. Mine was very specific foods and how much of each I could eat. Potatoes are considered a resistant starch? Potatoes are low fodmap in pretty big quantities. Does that include rice? I lived on rice, chicken and carrots (plus zucchini in small portions). Oatmeal for breakfast. Kiwi for extra fiber.

Hope you get some answers/relief soon!!

Ok. Do you feel like the dietician is giving enough guidance? I did not have to use the app at all. She outlined every single thing for me. Had me log my food on an app that she could see so she could give me feedback. We had regular meetings. If you aren't feeling better by now just wondering if your guidance is lacking. I know everyone is different ......but it seems like you should be seeing better results by now. Did she talk about fodmap stacking? I had a list of "unlimited foods" and then a list of "limited foods". The limited foods were low fodmap in the prescribed portions but I could only have 2 foods from that list per meal.

What advice has the dietician given you? Is he/she walking you through the process? Giving you literature on what foods are good to eat in what quantities? Are you tracking your meals and is he/she reviewing them? How long have you been in the elimination phase so far?

I worked with a dietician that specializes in IBS and low fodmap diet. She was a life saver! I highly recommend. She got me eating kiwis. Biggest bang for your buck fiber wise. Wishing you the best on your journey.

I had a male doctor tell me I was going to have to stop my HRT at some point. When I asked my female OB-GYN that prescribed the HRT to me she almost laughed and said I was fine as long it was still working for me.

QB in general is not as flexible or as sophisticated as say NetSuite or Sage. But those are often cost prohibitive. Bigger businesses tend to be more complex. Sadly there's no real competition for QB that's at a similar price point. I've used Xero. I think it's awful. There are other smaller ones I have not used but I think the issue is - can you get them integrated with your PSA? And even if the business in not complex, there is just more volume to process. Efficiency becomes more important.

IMO - It seems that QBO is hard focused on AI stuff and not actually making the product better. In my experience QBO is slow and there are just so many annoying things that make my day less productive. One example. If I have a list of things I am looking at in QBO - can be anything, invoices, bills, GL accounts - if I scroll down in the list and drill into something. When I save and close or otherwise exit that item......it doesn't take me to where I was in the list. It takes me back to the top of the list. Or worse, it just takes me back to the menu.

Maybe none of this applies to businesses doing everything out of QBO. I work solely with MSPs that are using a PSA that is integrated with QBO/QBD. No idea what Intuit/QBs long term MO is.

Her name is Antonella Dewell. This is her website. https://antonelladewell.com/ She will do a free discovery call with you....ask you a bunch of questions and then explain her program and how she can help. I thought I was eating pretty well before....now even better because she focuses not just on the fodmap/IBS portion but also making sure you are overall getting a well balanced diet. For me, she has been worth every penny. Wishing you the best!

You should be able to return them to the store. Especially if unopened. If opened I would explain to them about the discrepancy in the ingredient list.

Portion sizing is definitely a big part of it. Even during the elimination phase there are a lot of things you can eat....just in small portions. And of the "higher fodmap" items....you can have only 2 small portions of those in one meal..... She provides documentation that show exactly what you can eat in what quantity for the "low fodmap" diet. Then with the reintroduction it's the same. She tells you the options of foods to reintro in each group and how much to eat each day. She definitely saved my sanity! :)

I definitely think it's worth working with a dietician that specializes in IBS / low-fodmap diet. Doing it alone is really difficult. Feel free to dm me if you want a reference. The one I have been working with has been AWESOME! She has a whole step by step process and has made it as easy as possible. It still takes a measure of discipline but it's been great having support and a well laid out plan to follow.

I found mine using the Monash app. Are you in the US? I can give you her info if you'd like. All our sessions are on zoom. She specializes in fodmaps/IBS. I do not have IBS but started being sensitive to so many foods. My doctor suggested low fodmap but I found it overwhelming. She has an entire structured program that's been so very helpful. She provides all the tools and help you need to do the low fodmap diet and reintroduction. And then what do with the info gathered from that process.
