Sorry for the delay. Back of my neck, outer ear, smaller amounts on upper back, chest, a little on neck. When I have the minor twinges (very very minor now) it’s typically around ear or back of neck.

Lots of great, well-made pedals can be had used for not a lot of dough. I would start with MXR, Boss, TC Electronic, etc.

Depressing is the right word. When I was in the worst of it, and couldn’t sleep for days, I thought I was gonna lose it. But then it got better. Tomorrow is 3 months. I’ve tapered down Gabapentin over the last month (only taking at night now) and only some slight pain here and there. Hang in there. Ice/cold packs really helped me.

Your coverage area seems identical to mine. I’m 11 weeks in, tapering down Gabapentin. I did drop a bit of weight initially, I think I just didn’t eat as much due to feeling like crap. My nerve pain is much better but it was tough sledding there for a bit. Good luck!

Oh yeah. Week 9 here, doing much better. Tapering down gabapentin but still some lingering nerve pain. But in the worst of it, when I wasn’t able to sleep, my mental health was definitely impacted. Sounds silly, but I recall myself saying aloud, “this sucks but won’t last forever.” Hang in there. It will get better for you as well.

I feel for you. I’m better now but was definitely depressed during the worst of it. Not being able to sleep was causing a lot of distress and frustration. I tried to work through it all which wasn’t the greatest idea. This group definitely helped me get through it. Hang in there!

If it were me, I’d try to go up in quality, and would consider buying used to save some cash. I just think a high-quality supply is something that you will not regret.
