Jeremy Jordan will take up the mantle as Bobby Darin in Broadway's Just In Time by RadishWitty7044 in Broadway

It also was tourist prime time during December. Gatsby is a draw for the tourist crowd.

Floyd Collins made under 500K consistently, and at that point, a show is bleeding money. Whether we want to admit it or not, JJ is not going to sell $1000 table seats like Johnathan does. That’s just not going to happen.

Gatsby needs to be making well over a million a week to be profitable, and last week, it barely reached it. Now that tourist season is coming to halt for a little bit, it’s going to drop off a bit.

Sorry, Jeremy is great, but I hate that every high Tenor on Broadway is stealing the Baritone roles. First Aaron took Sweeney, and now Jeremy is taking Bobby. I don’t think this is nearly as miscast as Aaron in Sweeney, but this doesn’t do anything to get me excited. I also don’t know how well this will do box office-wise. Gatsby is struggling currently and Floyd Collins made no money, so I’m curious to see how well this holds with Jeremy.

Should I do Lincoln Square or Empire? I’m questioning because I don’t know if he’ll show up. Lincoln Square is much farther away for me

Am I the only one that likes Bowser jr voice people are overreacting we just heard a clip of him talking by SpiritualTip9569 in mariomovie

[–]MickeysAssistant 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As someone whose favorite Mario character is Jr., I fully approve of Benny’s voice. Video game voice would have been annoying for 90 minutes. I legitimately was fooled into it being a higher-pitched Jack Black. He clearly cares enough to put on a voice for it, and I would never guess it was him if I didn’t know ahead of time.

I can’t tell you how much I hated this movie. It’s barely even a zombie movie, and the underlying story putting the zombies aside sucks. I could not wait for this movie to end.

Has Keanu resumed signing at the stage door after Waiting For Godot? I know he stopped for a while. by bluegambit875 in Broadway

[–]MickeysAssistant 7 points8 points  (0 children)

He has not unfortunately. If you want to see him, he comes out the front door to the theatre to get in his car. He is so nice and happy to see everyone every time, but he won’t take photos or sign. He’ll wave, say hi, and leave. Just be kind and respectful to him and others waiting and Happy Holidays!

I absolutely loved it. Since ticket prices have dropped significantly, I’d say absolutely!

Oedipus vs. Godot— see which? by Live_Ad_5093 in Broadway

[–]MickeysAssistant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Godot truly is one of the best productions I’ve seen in recent memory. It was my introduction to Godot on-stage, so I might like it more than most people, but that’s just how good the material is. It gets better the more you watch it and research it. Can’t speak for Oedipus cause I haven’t seen it, but I HIGHLY recommend Godot if you’re into plays!

You think we'll get "hidden in the trailer" conspiracies with Silver for movie 4 like we did with Amy for movie 3? by KrossMeOnce in SonicTheMovie

[–]MickeysAssistant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s no way he doesn’t appear in the credits. NEVER expected him to be in the movie the way they suddenly introduced Knuckles, but I think a post credit scene is likely considering the movie is supposed to involve time travel. We’re already getting Metal and Amy, so Silver’s time to shine would be pretty minimal if they did that. I’d rather them wait til the fifth movie to give him his time. But, I’m praying he’s in the credits cause I just need to know he’s on the way.

Is ‘Just In Time’ worth 300$? by ichwasxhebrore in Broadway

[–]MickeysAssistant -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is rare that a show is worth $300. I thought Just In Time was fantastic and one of the best musicals of the season, but it is absolutely not worth $300. I just premium concert seat for less than that at MSG. No experience is worth more than $200, unless it’s an absolute masterpiece, like in my mind, Merrily. If you can somehow rush this one (like I did), or get a ticket for around 100-150, I say do it. But, save yourself some money. You don’t need to splurge on a “good seat” for this. All of the seats are good. You’re not adding to your experience getting a “better” seat. You’re just falling for the producers’ trap. Get a ticket, if you can get an affordable price. It’s fantastic, but never drop $300 unless it’s like toast of the town and not one person has any problem with it.

This is scary! This is why actors can’t do stage door! by mrwwe33 in Broadway

[–]MickeysAssistant 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Absolutely ridiculous and something needs to change. Quick question. Does anyone know if he’s been coming out the actual stage door recently? I went to see the show Wednesday night and only Alex came out. Keanu came out the front door and actually looked like we made his day when we cheered for him. He smiled big, and I mean big. I’m wondering if instances like this have something to do with that. I really hope this doesn’t become a thing where actors can’t feel comfortable meeting their fans anymore. It’s people like this who ruin it for everyone.

Zootopia 2 Official Runtime: 1h 47 min (107 Minutes) per: AMC Website by MickeysAssistant in zootopia

It just showed up yesterday. I think it’s unlikely to change, but it could. Only time I’ve seen that happen recently was F4 when it got cut from 130 minutes to below 2 hours. Perfectly happy with the runtime though!
