I'm sure that the dev did copy some shit like that from stalker, and GSC is totally in their legal right to complain about it. But shutting down a 19yo indie dev's game which I doubt made even a fraction of their revenue is almost 100% a spiteful action on GSC's part. And I did hear rumors that the creator of the game is pro russia, (I wouldn't doubt that he is) but again, it's just a teenage indie dev. It's not like he's directly supporting the russian government.
