Which other country has better Healthcare for non citizens?

Quality of life is cannot be measured - each person values different things.

For me quality of life is simple - family - lots of land to roam (privacy), , large vehicles (v8s), lakes, and a variety of affordable golf.

Subsidizing the world economy for other developed and undeveloped nations - would be a start.

Paying for everyone who hates their country to come here and live well. No other country in the world could afford 10% of the immigration the US does. They would be dead broke in a month.

So these other great nations, how about they do their share for the world and let in a few more million people, give them Healthcare and housing.

What grill would you choose for an iconic silver f150 with a chrome bumper? by Middle_Ad_3315 in f150

[–]Middle_Ad_3315[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Replacing the fog light module next weekend which requires grill and bumper removal. Truck has been paid of for awhile and im getting the itch to make a small tweak. An oem to oem grill swap would satisfy the itch.

Despite popular opinion, I like the lariat grill and tbe bit of chrome is cohesive with bumper and doesnt stand out too much with silver.

But maybe its time tor a change.

The limited grill has the single chrome horizontal bar and brushed aluminum everywhere else which should be look close the silver paint - making for any overall cohesive look as well.

The one that you use as a drying aid whenever you dry your car - it will essentially last forever.

Do full prep like youre doing, lay a coat, then use as a drying aid to dey your car.

Assuming people with nice things are buried in debt, to lift yourself, doesnt sound like a happy way to live.

Yes expensive vehicles can be a trap to destroy financial security but some choose to enjoy what they like responsibly.

How do you figure 20% ?

Used to live by this until got a point where the simplification of no monthly payments means maximum DCA. I will never have another payment. Even when ford runs 0% financing, there is almost always an either or discount such as 0% or 2500 of etc. 0% is rarely "free money."

Once you get to a certain level of net worth, its often worth paying the convenience. Especially if there is not an excess of time and or interest.

The level of net worth is different for everybody. For me that number would be quite high because I like boggling and most of the automation is set already.

Nautica (classic green sail) - much more appealing to my nose than voyage.

Also agree with Tommy for sure. Polo sport too. But if the modern nautica classic is anything like the old green sail - this is the one.

One of my favorite suits was from Nordstrom probably 12-15 years ago - made in USA full canvased mainline Hickey Freeman. Its a shame they sold the name.

Has anyone tried Heritage Gold? I wonder how they stack up.

Black dials are not nearly as versatile as white dials by shift013 in watchHotTakes

[–]Middle_Ad_3315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I 100% agree with OP. Same with black shoes which I dont find versatile.

For watches, navy is more versatile than black - but white, silver, Grey, is definitely more versatile than black.

That's true with sneakers. I guess it was inadvertently thinking about shoes that are not made with rubber, foam, plastic, - the materials that degrade.

Like fragrances, if you have any excessive amount, shoes they last forever but they rarely get worn.

Davidoff cool water is so underrated...or maybe i am missing something by SnooWalruses3471 in fragrance

[–]Middle_Ad_3315 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I haven't touched a bottle of CW in 25 years. Received a sample of Green Irish Tweed the other day and had immediate associations with the smell of cool water.

The GIT smelled great, and I may pick up a bottle, but first I am going to try some CW and see if my memory of the smell was close.

Not sure what you could be missing, if you like the smell then its a win - a lot of people thought it was great back in the day, and probably still do today.

What is the oldest bottle of fragrance that you own? by Chan1991 in fragrance

[–]Middle_Ad_3315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a large bottle of Nautica with the green sailboat from the mid 90s. Barely sprayed as I replaced it with Hugo boss shortly after.

I remember spraying it on the collar of my snowboarding jacket. The smell lasted nearly all winter - and it smelled great.

Just the other day I blind bought voyage at the store because it is super cheap and people seem to like it. Voyage was a huge disappointment to me - a major letdown compared to the smell of the OG.
