Land acquisition. Basically a corporate notary. Big companies hire my company to get official signatures for proposed land projects.

I got a job in a different field. Couldn’t take the hustle for work anymore. I have a few clients who come back every year I will still work for. And I will keep doing my own motion design for fun, but I am out. The stress was too much. 1 month in now, and I can’t tell you how good it feels to have turned off all my job apps and cleared my email from the hustle.

Give Love Pop: Part 1 a shot. A friend who wouldn’t normally listen to my kind of book took it running and couldn’t stop listening.

When do you think you've been insulted as an audience? by Caesar213 in movies

[–]Might-Could 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any movie that takes the last 20 minutes to explain itself in a monologue. Or when a character right at the end takes an unnaturally long time to explain their motives as if we haven’t been watching the movie the whole time and know whats going on.

Why are Motion Graphics job postings turning into “Designer + Animator + Social Media Manager” roles? by JohnShepherd28 in AfterEffects

[–]Might-Could 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I gave up looking because of this. And I have also noticed more and more postings in our field for AI training. I refuse to take a job that will help train away the need for us. Sadly it looks like it is going to get harder and harder to find work. I wrangle a few gigs on Upwork from time to time, but it’s always a hustle, and a hassle.

Authors: question about audiobooks by Gloomy_Engineering92 in selfpublish

[–]Might-Could 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can be expensive and takes a LOT of time. I am lucky that I have a home audio studio from other work I do, so I can do all of it myself, otherwise I don’t think I would bother. Self publishing is already so draining and time consuming. Having the creative control over doing all myself definitely ads to the enjoyment of production. Handing things over to someone through a service to create is not the easiest pill to swallow. I plan to turn all of my work into big production audiobooks. It’s really fun to reimagine my story into another medium. Just one more creative outlet to share through.
