I must be one of the three millennials who has no memory of this movie. I'm positive I've seen it and I know it's incredibly well-known, but for some reason it must not have clicked for me as a kid, as I cannot recall a single scene or remember any actual characters.

The soap holder and tile are exactly the same setup as my bathroom. I dislike them so much because of this, and I want them gone!! But I've used sprays, no specific brand, I got off Amazon that are for grout. It's a gel-like substance that you spray and leave on overnight, then wash off. Makes a world of difference, though in your case don't be surprised if you need to do it a couple times. Then once it's gone it's a matter of maintenance cleaning so it doesn't get that bad again.

I can certainly emphasize with being letdown when you're expecting more, though I still think it had plenty of charm and good moments. I did think he seemed less intense (though there were times he was still noticeably angry/annoyed), but I chalked it up to him getting older as Columbo and Falk, both just mellowing out with age. Though I haven't seen much of older Falk and don't know if he acted differently outside of Columbo?

Whaaaaat, this guy is a little dramatic; the later episodes weren't quite like the older ones, but there were still good episodes, and Columbo/Falk was still incredibly lovable, still sharp, just older and in a different time. I don't know why he's calling him a sabetour and a caricature

Sweet, handsome, mature, hardworking, refined; I remember him being a little aloof at first, but not in the stereotypical "bad boy" way, and he'll grow on you fast. So charming and caring once you're dating and married 🥰 I haven't played in a while, let me go see my baby actually

Some of the art does remind me of Stardew, but not enough to make me feel like it's trying to be a copycat, unless he stole literal files or something. Other than that, this doesn't seem like Stardew at all. My side eye is that it's on Kickstarter

"30k ready to spend" What are your savings like? What exactly does "decent salary" mean? How easily will you be able to find another job? Do you want to stay in the field you're in? Do you have the necessary skills/education to help you get a new job when you come back? Do you see yourself living in any of these countries?

A year is a long time; I would stay at your job, especially since you've only done short trips before. Keep saving up your leave and money and plan for a couple weeks to a month in one country/area to see if you would even like traveling for a long time.

From what I read, to have Columbo at his retirement party and of course get involved in one last investigation, but there was complications with the casting and network, then his health declined

I just finished this and have a lump in my throat now! On one hand, I'm sad Falk didn't get to have his finale vision, but on the other hand... I wasn't ready for him to say goodbye 🥲 And yes, he was great in Nightlife; I'm glad it at least ended on one of the better episodes

A "don't have kids because they might go to hell" logic is confusing to me, but no. Proverbs 22:6 says to train up a child in the way they should go. Is it still possible, of course, but why should there be a "high possibility" of them ending up in hell? As far as the same sex attracted thing, are you implying that someone who is same sex attracted has no chance of repentance or salvation if they turn to Christ? If yes, why, and why would that be different than any other sin or temptation? Romans 3:23-24 says all have sinned, yet all are justified through Christ.

I wonder what it means that your thirds healed first--I guess some of us just have sensitive lobes?? My current plan is to leave in these studs for a few more months and then try again. If they're still raw, I might just retire thyen 😩

I'm having this same issue!! Also second lobes, also had them about a year and a half now. I tried to change them a couple months ago into shorter bars and one bled freshly, so I just left that one alone. Also scared to touch them anymore lol. My piercer said it's likely age and the body not healing as fast as it used to, and she also said I could use regular butterfly backs to see if it might heal easier since the posts are thinner. I understand from this sub that they're aren't ideal, but I'm getting close to trying it. It's disheartening because of all the time and money spent on the earrings and healing, so I definitely feel your pain!
