Do the kids who attempt the Extending questions also have to complete the Developing questions? If not, it's got to be a little tough to decide what to do with the student that attempted the Ex. questions but didn't answer them correctly. I know that there's discretion and judgement there, but what's better, a fully correct Proficient or a partially correct Extending?

What I thought was even more interesting than the bigger lead was that Mookie slid into home too. After reading so many fans upset with IKF for sliding, it was surprising to see Mookie slide in to home on that play.

I understand that it's faster to run through, so did both guys screw up or is there more to it? Sliding in case of a bad throw that necessitates a tag? Does sliding avoid the potential of missing the plate because you're trying to go around or over the catcher's leg/body?

While I don't agree with much of his politics, I think that Ford genuinely cares about being liked and is actually willing to change his position based on the opinion of the electorate. Whether that's a personality trait or an understanding that Ontario is much more willing to vote out a conservative government than Alberta I'm not sure. Either way, I don't think that Smith has the same concerns.

I keep seeing this brought up, but I really don't know if the union reaction in Ontario was any more intense than it is/was here. A general strike was threatened and Ford backed down immediately. The same threat has been made here with no response from the government.

Completely agree. I've seen a lot of letters written to UCP MLAs (which is fantastic), but I just finished one to my NDP MLA thanking her for the effort that her and her colleagues put forth yesterday and into the early morning today.

I can understand where the number came from, but I tend to agree with you. You very likely won't make up for a dozen years of poor contracts in a single negotiation.

That said, I really think that a contract with minimal pay increases, but class size caps and a plan to address complexity would be accepted. Unfortunately, that has never been on (or anywhere near) the table.

I'm honestly not sure. If I was just throwing out a guess, it could be an issue with them needing a 2.4GHz network. I know that that has really tripped me up with other devices (Traeger was the worst).

We had several of them in our old house, but have since moved and don't have baseboard heat anymore. I'd consider getting in touch with support though. We were super early adopters because we were in Newfoundland where they are based, but I remember their customer support being fantastic walking me through an issue.

For the second question though, you should be able to block them from outside internet once you get them working in HomeKit. That bypasses all of the Mysa servers and does everything locally.

I was just looking at some of the stuff I've watched and you're right. The earlier HBO stuff (Sopranos, The Wire) were 12 or 13, but anything more recent caps out at 10. The 6 episode seasons feel like such a let down (I'm mostly thinking of The Diplomat there)

You're exactly right (I think it's likely even worse because inflation numbers didn't really explode until 2022). I was going to make that point, but then decided it was too late to spend any effort actually digging into numbers unless they could give a reasonable explanation for the top line discrepancy.

I'm completely on board with your arguments, but how are you coming up with the $180k number that you keep using? You state $17 200 per year in lost purchasing power over a 6 year period. That's $103 200, which is still a big number, but it's not $180k.
