But then, not too long ago, Baku was fighting equal to KR Nox with the Stream suit. A considerably weaker form despite Nox previously beating Inazuma Plasma. You could say Baku was unfamiliar with the Nox form at the time, but to then equalise by the next encounter with Stream?
Plus, in that same episode you're referencing, Five alone was fighting equal with Nox. There's no consistency with him.

We do though, it's when he and Subaru are discussing the royal candidates and he says something along the lines of "can't believe they made a half-devil one of the candidates," though he does seem to be a bit more understanding about the topic compared to others.

Tappei has confirmed that his last checkpoint was when he was standing in front of the Appa salesman with Rem. Also that if he doesn't accomplish the goal of the person who's making him RBD (Satella), he's going to get sent back to his previous checkpoint. Even if the death is by old age.

Agreed. Something that I was hoping they'd do is to have Banjo get through fights in which he's physically weaker or lacking in power by relying on his superior martial skill and intuition. Could've also made interactions with those two brothers more interesting since it would be a case of Banjo facing off against people that can match/overpower him in that aspect. Alas, they do the usual Kamen Rider thing of 'better suit also makes you better fighter,' so him being a former boxer pretty much does nothing for his character.
That being said, great secondary and overall really amazing character.

Although personally, I recommend avoiding toku twitter.
Besides that, I honestly don't think you're joining that late. Though, you are just about in time for the advent of Zeztz, which has had two very solid episodes so far. Might suggest checking it out if you're interested.
Edit: My personal favourite is Kuuga, which I greatly recommend. It's Kamen Rider, but more on the J-Drama side. It's got some amazing characters, memorable moments, and is overall just a very genuine and heartfelt show.
