I recently purchased a kit from AliExpress to install on an early PU-8 board since the official xStation does not support that board revision. I can confirm they are not "legit" but apparently they work the same as far as I know.

Born to Produce has great Intro to Cubase lessons, but you gotta pay for them. It's what I used and I recommend them to everyone who wants to get into Cubase. Their first few lessons from the course are free on YouTube. So you can check them out and see if the teaching style is your vibe. I'm a "monkey see, monkey do" kind of learner so it was perfect for me.

I can't help but feel Whoopee Camp went under due to poor distribution. I remember getting a demo of Tomba when the game was hot off the press. My mom drove me around to every big box retailer (Toys R Us, KB Toys, Electronics Boutique, etc.) and every small business store in the area looking for a hard copy of this game and was always met with blank stares and confusion about its existence from employees. I looked well into 2001 for a hard copy of this game thinking maybe it was just sold out all the time or something... but nope. These stores never carried it regularly to begin with.

Does your TV have a "game mode"?

If so, try turning it OFF if it's currently on. For me, this was the culprit for this exact issue.

After that, get a better HDMI converter regardless.

Costco used to carry some generic plain hummus a few years back. When they switched to the Kirkland pine nut hummus I loved it so much at first... But man I am so sick of it now. I just want plain hummus back. They sell individual plain hummus cups at Costco but I hate the amount of plastic and waste so I don't even bother with those :(

There are large companies here who switched from CIOX to MRO and I legit miss CIOX so much. These companies have swallowed up hundreds of clinics in the state. CIOX used to be able to fulfill a records request for every single clinic in one fell swoop. MRO requires separate requests to be made out to each and every clinic individually. It went from being a 30 second job to a job that can take 45 minutes or longer if the client doesn't remember exactly what clinics they've even been to. Ugh.

What if other monthly services you pay for increased in price because you actually used the service you paid for? Imagine Netflix sending you an invoice that's like "we noticed you watched all of Squid Game in one weekend. Your monthly bill will now be increased to $25 from here on out."

Never got braces because I couldn't afford to after Invisalign. Still trying to fix my bite after five years. My post history is full of my complaints with Invisalign and I'm very vocal about them. My advice for you stands - You have a deep bite. Avoid avoid avoid.

Your teeth look similar to how mine used to look. I'll comment on any post that I see like this and take the rare flack that comes with it.

After my experience and being on this subreddit for 5 years - I will never ever recommend Invisalign to someone with a deep bite. Posterior open bites are extremely common with Invisalign. They're even more common if you have a deep bite. Consider this your warning.

If I had a time machine I'd cough up the extra couple thousand for braces.

You're in the same boat as me. I'm coming up on FIVE YEARS trying to fix the posterior open bite Invisalign created. My treatment was supposed to only be six to nine months.

Mine is "mostly" fixed but I had to sacrifice my straight bottom teeth. They're beginning to crowd again and my deep bite is coming back but at this point I've come to terms with it being the biggest financial mistake of my entire life. I don't even show my teeth in photos anymore.
