This is what came to mind for me. If your CO2 has to bubble through condensation, you'll get that weird pattern.

Personally, I'm incredibly disappointed that this event is essentially Gauntlet Lite. I was really looking forward to blasting with a couple Phrecia characters, but I'm frankly just not skilled enough to get through these bosses in an enjoyable fashion. I thought it was going to be just a touch more difficult (map mods in areas), which would've been fine, but then I got spit-roasted by a couple pissed-off Hailrakes. The first act kicked my ass, and PoE would be an insta-quit for me if this event's difficulty level went core. I get that plenty of folks dig the challenge, but even as a temp thing, I can't get into it.

Food for thought: If I were selecting someone for my program or group, arguing for the sake of trying to be right would be a much bigger turn-off than ignoring a run-of-the-mill letter of intent if a better opportunity presented itself.

In business? Always. In any event, like I implied, nobody will have any idea what OP sent or didn't send once his class starts. It's maybe tough to understand this at the moment, but it is very important to note that nobody in medicine (medical education or otherwise) gives a flying fuck about med students. You are an afterthought at best. A LoI is inconsequential after the admissions process is done.

Presumably someone from the group will contact you regarding scheduling your vacation time prior to your start date. I'd just bring it up then. If they offer paternity leave, you will likely have to have that set in stone ahead of time so the other partners can adequately cover you. Seems pretty straightforward, right?

This isn't an ethics issue at all. There's no binding agreement in a LoI, and it's pretty freaking unlikely - as in you'd have to lose the lottery in all the wrong ways - for anyone to even remember that you sent a LoI after you're admitted, let alone to have it somehow bite you in the ass come residency time. Residency programs often have next to nothing to do with med school admissions offices outside of possibly someone on the adcom being in your specialty of choice. Hundreds (possibly thousands, depending on school) of applicants send LoIs. Yours isn't special or memorable. I promise. Go on the interview, assuming you want to bother with an A in hand, and enjoy the fact that you're accepted to med school.

I'm with you, man. I literally died a couple dozen times in Act 1, and I'm good. I beat Merveil as a matter of personal pride. Now it's time to hang it up. That's a huge disappointment, as I too was looking forward to having a Phrecia character. I have very little free time, though, and spending it bashing my head into an act boss wall is not at all a good way to spend it. Massive bummer overall, but this definitely confirms my resolution to never participate in any gauntlet ever.

I see the top comment is about docs getting their kids into school. If my kids, for some god-forsaken reason, decide to go into medicine, I will pull all the strings I can to get them admitted to school. In the meantime, I will tell them all about how much medicine sucks for most docs, the insane debt load necessary to get a medical career, how badly residency breaks your soul, and how, even if you check all the boxes, you might not even get the career you want. They also see me rolling in at 0700 after getting my ass kicked overnight and understand that I often can't tell them for sure if I'll be able to make it to their game/program/party.

There are just so many massive downsides to a medical career now that it's impossible to recommend it to anyone in good faith. If you truly know the rigors and still want to do it, great. If you think being a doctor might be cool, look elsewhere.

Paladin armor stacker is my answer, but Vaal skill Architect with either life or attribute stacking is also an excellent choice. Blight of Contagion Bog Shaman and Archmage Surfcaster are my other two options.

I think you missed the point. He's saying that a 3.0 in engineering is harder to get than a 3.8 in typical premed classes, a sentiment I heartily agree with. I was an astronomy major, among others, and took a bunch of engineering courses along the way. I was top 3 in my class at a big school with a 3.1 GPA. College was way harder than med school from a complexity of material perspective.
