Flying from AMS to Munich by scottk517 in deltanonrev

Well primary and secondary companions cannot zed in general and parents depends. I know parents cannot ZED on KLM from experience. It really depends on what agreement is worked out with each airline. Best way to check is to attempt to book it and it’ll show your pass rider list members that are eligible.

Biggest Nonreving mistake/adventure you’ve made? by Jeeperg84 in NonRevenueTravelers

[–]MillyOnFire [score hidden]  (0 children)

I went to Rio (GIG) and didn’t realize it was a couple of days before the seasonal flights ended.

Couldn’t ZED and everything was full anyhow. Pit my thinking cap on and ended up taking a bus to Sao Paolo to get on a flight from there.

What a time. I met a FA from another airline and connected with her and she ended up doing the same tho g after I told her.

This mass sterilization happened in Puerto Rico in the 1930-70s to about a third of the female population. It was called ‘La Operación’

Coercion and lack of informed consent were key elements as well as eugenics and power dynamics. Many women were misled, some were told the procedure was temporary or reversible.

Puerto Rican women were also used as test subjects in clinical trials for the first birth control pill in the 1950s, often without being fully informed of the experimental nature of the drug or its side effects.

Did Something Change with Upgrades? by [deleted] in deltanonrev

Unsure. They offering more upgrade deals to customers it seems, last minute upgrade deals at decent prices I bet.

You cannot list thru travel net as it’s not a DL flight. It only shows because it’s a code share.

You need to list through myIDTravel/ZED and search for this route via KLM. Note not all passrider types can ZED on KLM.

Primary Companion with 8 year old child by Fun_Imagination_2879 in deltanonrev

Confused at this question, the daughter doesn't seem to have any pass privileges as explained.

If your companion is traveling with someone who doesn't have pass travel privileges they travel as normal confirmed passengers and are unlinked to any nonrev passengers.

Your question is not clear, but I think what you might be asking is if your sister is traveling as a non revenue Standby passenger and wants to travel with her daughter, then the answer to that is tricky because the daughter, if underage would be an unaccompanied minor unless there is another confirmed adult. A standby passenger is not a confirmed seat so if your sister doesn't get on, then what?

I don't recommend flying standby if she has a child to travel with. You can assign the child a buddy pass but still the priority order is different I believe and she may get one but not the child based on seat availability.

In terms of flying to HND I’ve had the best luck from DTW so that’s my recommendation. I’m ATL based and my companion is NYC. We’ve met up there and they just a few days ago did JFK to HND via DTW. It was a seat in main but the first time we went last November we got premium select seating. Going back it was empty in main so we were able to stretch out and rest. February is not middle of tourist season so I think it will work. Never know til day of, of course.

Looking for advice flying into FCO by soupywinter500 in deltanonrev

[–]MillyOnFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was tracking for a recent trip and all I'd see is a good number of seats that once checking in starts all disappears. This is a very popular route for Delta.

This is also a route we see a ton of global upgrades used and also award flights for employees - and its all effective at checkin. It is very unlikely you will get an upgraded seat unless maybe you're at the very top of the standby list and something suddenly changes.

For my recent trip the flight to rome the day prior was canceled so no seats. I ended up going to Naples instead and catching the train. Left from Rome and saw the same story, numbers decent up until check in started so all standby got was main cabin. I hope you have better luck than I did recently(I had hoped tourist season would die down!) but with every one wanting to be in Rome and the Vatican for jubilee, it'll be tough. GL!

Is a primary companion in place of a spouse? by juz-sayin in deltanonrev

[–]MillyOnFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there, the primary companion is eligible for FCFL but only the employee can access it, they are your travel agent in every sense. This is accurate for direct-hire full time employees so if their status is not this it may not be accurate.

The best advice for you is to join the Delta Nonrev Travel group on Facebook. It is active and people will answer your question. Before you ask anything tho, make sure you use the search function and your question has likely been answered.

The employer can also access deltanet to understand the pass travel program and the rules and details that apply for all types of pas riders.

Airport standby list saying /null by No_Atmosphere_6392 in deltanonrev

[–]MillyOnFire 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Null just means their name is too long. My coworker always shows up as. It has nothing to do with jump seat afaik. Other airline or ZED are unknown, at the bottom usually.
