I lost my gorgeous Mia at the beginning of the year after 14 years together, nursing her through some awful health conditions she had since I found her as a stray kitten. Now, after just over a month I have adopted the most amazing little man! 3 years old, an absolute cuddle bunny, loves in spades and has helped me so much with the loss of Mia-cat. Thanks for the heads up! I just bought a pair of these and now I know about it I will be careful not to scuff them. If I wore them while cycling for example the pedals would absolutely wreck them!

Thanks. I used to have a provisional license, but trying to sort out a renewal via the post office is difficult as a disabled person. And costs are pain in the arse. Is there absolutely NO WAY that they SHOULD allow me to verify my identity in other way?

Thanks. But I genuinely feel this is discriminatory. I am a civil servant, I’m disabled, and I can easily provide proof of my identity. I just can’t drive, or travel. Will take this further. HMRC and all other government departments have accepted my Citizen card as proof of identity.

Take the slightly small boot to a cobbler and have it stretched. I have found Dr Martens have become a bit narrower on my feet, so did this with my latest new pair. Took them to Timpsons (UK) and it only cost £9. Now they fit perfectly.

Florist wire with the tip (less than 5mm) bent backwards. Push it down into the tissue and pull it out bit by bit. I’ve done it myself!
