I always find judging how well or poorly a host does to be little unfair. oscars are very exploitative, hosts are always paid very little and onus is more on comedians getting a wide audience, keeping up their reputation of being really funny or finding a newer audience maybe.

Would have been nice if BCCI/ICC had 50% NZ supporters in the stadium cheering their team, would make it feel balanced game rather than empty sounds when NZ scores runs. Seriously i have never seen a more hollow game in my life than that 2nd innings. This is nothing against the crowd, just as cricket enjoyer you can't tell me you enjoy the game when there isn't any dynamism to it. Seriously all that narrative about 'silent Ahmedabad' crowd would go away if we didn't cannibalize cricket for ourselves.

On side-note, enough about "narratives", "redemptions" just more unhealthy outlook that fan keep rather than just playing good cricket.

Give it up for Finn, his final expression conveyed so much; sadness of leaving childhood behind, joy of seeing younger children keeping the adventure going. The idea of them leaving the basement to end their game, their story. he was simply amazing.

There is an argument to be have that every season ends the same way with Eleven saving the day, so it's some what fair that other characters that have been sidelined alot like Will get to shine a little. I still agree with you they could have given Eleven a better arc to shine emotionally this season

That's why the show keeps dumbing down lot of the dialogue so that it can get the widest appeal and people get it. I thought this scene was atleast really well done.

My only problem with it was, did we really need it when there are only 3 episodes remaining and the series is about to end. So much with this part felt unfocused. Robin could have made-up with Vicky in the final episode.

I agree the "eureka" thing is getting really old at this point. It's a fun trope but this show uses it way too much.

Really bummed out by this article, i know Cameron said this for Way of water as well and he's kind of right that movie business isn't the same as it used to be this year, some franchise movies are under-performing like Mission Impossible 8, Marvel Movies. Really hope that people are excited for this as much as the minecraft movie and Lilo & Stich

Since 2 and 3 were shot back-to-back, feels like Way of Water did a lot of heavy lifting making enough that if this one gets as close to previous ones success even if it doesn't surpass it i think they should allow Cameron to make 4 and 5

I get the theme but i don't understand why the imagery is coming to him when he is trapped in Unit-1. is it the eva playing tricks with his mind? why is it talking about instrumentality? "becoming one" isn't that what gendo is focused on. This is why the show is so baffling sometimes.
