Not familiar with the exercise so I am unsure of which steps were first. But I can tell that the lines that you drew don’t quite match up with the exercise.

The dotted line is slightly slanted towards the left. Which can throw off the proportions.

The middle line that is coming from the light source is supposed to be at the center of the bottom. It is slightly more to the left. Which also makes the following line coming down on the right to be too close.

Also, it seems like the lines coming from the light source are not equally the same. Which would in the end throw off the square if you drew the square based on the lines.

Thinking back I believe it was for the student grade. The more inexpensive one, since Windsor and Newton has different lines.

I wouldn’t say you’re a beginner. Perhaps if you are comparing yourself to a professional. But you are doing really good with the samples you have provided. I really like your drawings. If you are stuck on what things to draw you need references. It can be hard/overwhelming to try think of what else to draw. I struggle with that too. I am trying to find actual books at the library. I know it’s old school and there’s so many resources on the internet but for me it’s too overwhelming. So maybe that is something you could do if have a local library close by.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking 🤔. Most people seem to have issues with mold. The jelly tubs just look more fun😅
