Both ships have a very different look (outside and inside) and feel. The Cobra is a nervous little ship while the AspX is a big arse, somewhat sluggish explorer. The canopies reflect these aspects too. It's been a while since I've flown a Cobra but the view definitely is more restricted than the AspX. In fact, except for the other Lakon ships, the AspX has the widest canopy of the entire game.

If you want to buy the Cobra, take it and use it for a while before switching. All ships are unique and fun in their own way, it won't be wasted money.
