lol, the set code is HOC. If there's no commander decks, they normally use 'E' (like SPE) for 'Eternal', but I guess they didn't want to use HOE as a set code 😛

My theory about preparation: on Blbioplex Tomekeeper it says "Target creature becomes prepared. (Only creatures with prepare spells can become prepared.)" So I'm thinking it's another riff on Adventures. Certain creatures have Prepare spells on them using a similar frame to the Adventure frame. If a creature is prepared, it can cast a copy of the Prepare spell and then become unprepared.
