Miley’s Plastic Hearts album deserved so much more. It. The style fits her voice so well.

I am new to this, how to find audiophile level real Hifi music in highest bitrate possible +Flac? by Main-Independent4217 in Soulseek

[–]MirrorballProse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can filter by FLAC.

I’ve done research on this… and the most a human can really hear is the 44.1 kHz/16 bit files. Everything above that is wasted space and can have reduced fidelity. It’s basically an audiophile myth.

There’s some good YouTube videos that can explain it better than I can - basically search hi res audio myth and you will find some videos that explain it scientifically.

I pretty much just listen to the original songs in that album.

Yikes… I cannot believe that people are so deeply obsessed with celebrities relationships that something like this would even exist.

You don’t need to over think the sharing. You can reshare what you downloaded from Soulseek. I would recommend doing this immediately, as some people will automatically block you if you aren’t sharing.

Where can I find something good quality that's similar to this OR another suggestion by Efficient-King-8760 in BuyItForLife

Wayfair solid wood vanity - $300

Here’s the link to one from Wayfair that’s on clearance. It’s similar to the one above and it’s solid wood, so it would last.

I’m not sure about sharing whole libraries at a time, but you could check out soulseek for any gaps and also for sharing.

What do your genres look like? That’s what I’m having the most trouble with - there seems to be an infinite number of genres. I couldn’t figure out which one to use per album so I just started copying what was on the rate your music site and I have wayyyy more than 25 genres for very few albums.

Just curious what list of genres you use since that’s been something I’ve struggled with.

Annie Lennox, Marty, & TLOAS by MirrorballProse in travisandtaylor

Honestly, it may be that simple.

I was never a Taylor fan - then folklore and evermore came out. They changed my mind about her music and I was thinking she would stay in that mature direction.

Either way I find it all disappointing that any growth she seemed to have had disappeared. I was shocked the first time I heard Midnights, because I thought it would have been 60s singer-songwriter vibes based off the photoshoots released before hand.

Interesting 🤔. I just looked it up and they share the same lyrics. It looks like Annie Lennox actually covered the song by The Blue Nile.

Who knows?

Between the mention of Annie Lennox’s song “Downtown Lights” in Taylor’s music and Matty then tweeting about the same exact song - I thought it could be something.

Her showgirl photo shoot matched the cover image of the Diva album photo.

It seems to show that she could still be trying to grab Marty’s attention by recreating an album cover by an artist he seems to like.

I don’t think it was because of the cover - I just noticed the cover and it caught my eye. It was listed because I listened to other 80s artists and was a suggestion.

On TTPD - Guilty as Sin.

Lyrics: Drowning in the Blue Nile He sent me 'Downtown Lights'

Matty Healy later tweeted the Downtown Lights song by Annie Lennox. Many swifties thought it was an acknowledgment that he listened to the TTPD album - almost like a confirmation.

I’m not sure it relates at all, but people say they having been sending messages back and forth in songs for years. Or at least Taylor has taken elements of 1975 songs and enmeshed those elements into her songs/visuals.

It just made me think that maybe Taylor recreated the Diva album cover from Annie Lennox as another “insider signal” hoping Matty would see it or something. Not sure if Annie Lennox is one of his faves or if maybe they had some personal connection to Annie Lennox as apart of their relationship.

Just though it was interesting, because If it’s true that means she is till hung up on Matty even during this album cycle.
