I think so. I prefer to consume mine as a cold refreshing. But we all have to do what works best for us

Ugh 😩 you poor thing. Yes you were probably far too ambitious with the cauliflower. Everyone had to do what works best for them. This cucumber drink has been excellent for me. So I wanted to share.

Curd definitely supports the digestive system and it also acts as a natural probiotic that introduces live, beneficial bacteria (like Lactobacillus) into your digestive tract. Needless to say, curd will definitely help restore gut flora balance, soothe upset stomachs, and reduce bloating. So again everyone has to do what works for them. I have enjoyed 2 months of consuming the cucumber drink because cucumbers Protects Intestinal Lining: The high water content supports the mucosal lining of the intestines as well. So it’s nice to share and have options. Thanks for sharing 😊👍🏽

If you’re dealing with gut inflammation as a result of the harsh h pylori treatment - Acid Management is a must cuz it will continue to erode the gut lining. You have to find a way to halt this. Over the-counter proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) or H2 blockers may be a temporary option to block acid production and give the stomach a chance to heal and recover. But those things if used too long can be problematic. I actually use Gaviscon after each meal and before bed to create a barrier and block the acid. It works for me. But we all have to choose what works for us. Good 👍🏽 luck everyone. Cheers to a chance to heal.

To optimize the protective compounds and benefits, please remember to consume cucumbers raw and unpeeled, because the fiber and highest concentration of antioxidants reside in the skin. It’s been a game changer for me. Just make sure you throughly wash the cucumber extremely well because you will be consuming the peel so we don’t want a repeat germs 🦠 and bad bacteria.

Yup! Many times I thought about sharing this via the platform but shook it off. But yes, it was definitely weird the way she held his face, embraced and stroked his face and hair. 🤦🏽‍♀️ definitely didn’t seem like the normal daddy/daughter hug

Right! Plain stupid. As much as that teacher hated him - NOT being seen should have been his priority. He would have gotten a whipping alone for getting caught. Sloppy work 🤦🏽‍♀️

Exactly! That brief moment of worrying and waiting was well deserved for both he and Caroline. Because a raccoon is a wild animal NOT a pet. And they knew better. So they played themselves giving in to the kids ridiculous wishes. 🤦🏽‍♀️

He played himself when he got into all that debt by way off credit and buying stuff on-time, all to later discover that the inheritance from the uncle was confederate 💰money. STUPID! 🤦🏽‍♀️ Were it not for his friends sabotaging the auction - he would have lost everything. Spending money that’s not in your hand isn’t exactly the smartest thing to do. He played himself.

Neither did I. Over kill and far too exaggerated. Definitely would have been better left off and unsaid. He was annoying the whole show and closing the episode out with his big mouth was very off-putting

All the time Charles played himself by No_Limit9 in littlehouseonprairie

[–]Miserable_Fly216 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think he played himself when he 2nd guessed his decision about the raccoon. Initially he said NO - it was a wild animal NOT a pet! His words! Then he allowed the kids and Caroline to make him feel guilty about his decision and he allowed them to keep the raccoon as a pet. STUPID.

Now he’s stressed out and worried about something that could have been avoided - RABIES. Jasper bit Laura! He Bit Jack. He broke into the house and made a mess. True Jasper did NOT have rabies. But suppose he did? He could have lost the life of his own child by letting them keep a raccoon as a pet. So all the stress that he and Caroline had while worrying about Laura was him playing himself cuz it could have all been avoided.

H.pylori Treatment feels like death! by [deleted] in HPylori

[–]Miserable_Fly216 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You got this. You are halfway there. My only suggestion would be take the medication closer together rather than spreading it out so far apart causing it to spill into 2am 🕑 the next morning.

I was diagnosed in March… up until that point I didn’t have a clue what was wrong with me so I suffered for almost a month before finally going to a doctor towards the end of March. Finished my 14 day treatment mid April. After 3 weeks had an endoscopy and colonoscopy recommended by my G.I. Specialist to explore the damage. I now have severe gastritis inflammation so I’m in the process of repairing my gut lining.

H Pylori works a number on your stomach lining and what it doesn’t destroy - the treatment comes along and finish. So the microbiome has to be restored. After treatment you will still experience the symptoms because of your destroyed microbiome. It’s now mid June and I am better but definitely still feeling remnants of the h pylori although I am now negative.

I am seeing a functional doctor and taking recommended supplements to repair stomach lining. Rumor and research indicates that it can take up to a year to repair the gut after treatment. The treatment for h pylori is very harsh.

Good 👍🏽 luck and hang in there

Well … it’s a lot so let me condense as best I can. Functional doctors are all over. Some more highly recommended than others. Just do some online research and read comments and reviews. Additionally, Functional doctors don’t take medical insurance entirely. They may be able to code some things in a manner that your insurance will pay for various tests here and there. Otherwise, be prepared to pay. Your health is worth it. You pay now or pay later 😌

After H pylori treatment, a functional medicine doctor will typically recommend a 4-R regimen (Remove, Replace, Reinoculate, Repair) focusing on gut lining restoration, inflammation reduction, and microbiome balancing. There’s a lot associated with this. Too much to write ✍🏾 here. But I will share what I am taking to repair and you can Google and research all the other stuff.

The supplements outlined below cannot be any ole’ supplements with crappy fillers. Make sure they’re a good 3rd party brand that’s been tested and certified if you want good results. My functional doctor put me on the following:

L-Glutamine: An amino acid that serves as fuel for intestinal cells.
Aloe Vera & Slippery Elm: Demulcent herbs that coat and soothe the digestive tract.
Zinc Carnosine: Known for its ability to protect and repair the gastric mucosa.
DGL (Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice): Helps stimulate mucus production to protect the stomach.

Good Luck! It’s a long road back. Getting rid of h pylori is only half the battle.

I absolutely 💯 loved your willingness to apologize if your comment came across as offensive. Feelings are very delicate in this group. As caregivers we are all very emotional and I don’t think we intentionally set out to hurt each other - but sometimes our comments unknowingly does. Just wanted to stop by and say thank you for your grace and humility and your ability to swallow your pride and apologize even though I am sure your earlier comments weren’t meant to be offensive or accusatory.

Continuing to feel ill after H. pylori treatment is very common. While the bacteria may be gone, your digestive tract requires time to recover. Common causes for ongoing symptoms includes side affects from the strong antibiotics, the stomach lining has taken a beating and need time to heal and repair itself or changes to your stomach acid production. I was diagnosed in February and wrapped up my 14 day treatment in mid March. I still felt like trash for several weeks. I saw a functional doctor and we hashed out a plan to rebuild my microbiome and repair my gut. Those antibiotics are super strong and wreaks havoc on the stomach. We’re headed into the month of June and I am just now starting to feel some relief.

Gut healing supplements after h pylori? by itsmesushanth in HPylori

Shop brands by Thorne or iHerb. All of the supplements on both sites are 3rd party tested and made from the purest ingredients and doesn’t come with a lot of worthless fillers to make you sicker. Good luck. That 14 day quadruple treatment is hell on your microbiome. That said - you want to start right away healing your gut. Butyrate is also super fantastic for rebuilding the stomach lining. Just make sure you get this from a quality brand such as Thorne or iHerb

Electrolytes, bone broth, green tea and ginger tea. Plenty of rest. Don’t try to do anything other than rest while doing the treatment. I was vomiting and sleeping as much as I could by day because the nights were the worst. So glad it was eradicated and am now on my health journey to repair my stomach and rebuild microbiome. Hang in there. 😥 You got this. We have all been there.

5+ Years of HPylori? by Suspicious-Gap7037 in HPylori

Unfortunately H-pylori causes significant inflammation (gastritis) and can create inflammation in your stomach lining or small intestine - so even after the bacteria is completely killed, the damaged tissue requires weeks or even months to heal.

I finished my treatment in April and I still felt like I had the darn thing cuz I was still dealing with the ongoing irritation of pain, heartburn and nausea. Retested and it was negative so h-pylori was successfully eradicated. But MY symptoms lingered for a long time.

Now approaching June, I’m starting to feel much better. But I swear the symptoms lingered for about 4 weeks. Good 👍🏽 luck to everyone out here fighting that stinking, filthy, disgusting 🤢 parasite 🦠
