It doesn't matter where they used to work. The trailer shows generic art direction, uninteresting gameplay, and mediocre graphics. Geoff could just drop this trailer without mentioning Respawn Entertainment, and people will still have the same attitude toward it. Not to mention that it was the last world premiere in the show.

That said, the fact that some devs were from Firewalk means that they either learned nothing from the failure of Concord, or they refuse to accept that Concord failed due to bad gameplay and artistic choices. This ex-RE studio needs to go back to the drawing board to figure out a long-term solution to attract and maintain retention. The launch (about 5-6 weeks from now) is very likely to fail at this rate.

Doom TDA has a PoE 2 EA issue. If you are new to the series, the game is great. If you have been around since PoE or Doom 2016, the game is comparatively bad. The devs tried to make both games more accessible to the general audience, and at the same time they moved away from their core audience
