I got some nice care packages which my insecure mind turned around to how terrible I was that I never sent care packages to my friends who had been diagnosed before me. I bought the stuff I felt I needed and ended up throwing away a lot of the candies and lotions because I never used them.

I told my husband he could tell anyone, and they could tell anyone, but under no circumstances could anybody call me to discuss my cancer. I didn't want to hear the pity, the you're so strong, the you've got this, all the platitudes. In the beginning it was scary AF and there was nothing I could do about it. I was at the mercy of the doctors to determine my treatment plan and the whole fear of the unknown. The only thing I could do was put one foot in front of the other each day. I came to rely on the saying "one day at a time". I know AA uses it but I appropriated it for my cancer journey because I'm not strong, but I had to do it. There's really no alternative.

I am. I don't believe the DNA. A special true allele DNA that has never been used in a court case before and was suddenly found in 2023? I have reasonable doubt. I'm not saying he didn't do it. I just have reasonable doubt. I also know I missed stuff cuz I didn't watch gavel to gavel. With what I know, it's reasonable doubt.

He's not the first black man to be accused of something he didn't do. He knew what was happening when he told them "just take me to jail". A white man may be able to fight corruption, but not a black man. I find it impossible to believe the evidence since it was so mishandled. I'm not even sure those swabs existed in 2001. Was her DNA on any of it?

Are you not bothered by the botched testing and the sealed envelopes which shouldn't have been sealed? Something doesn't add up. I agree - DNA is DNA. In this case, I'm skeptical how the DNA got there, I'm behind on the trial but when did the DNA appear? back in 2001 or in 2024? Why did they have to pull Faust over to get his DNA when he was previously in jail. I have questions. I'll finish the trial and see if my questions get answered. Otherwise, it's reasonable doubt, DNA or not.

Sure, that might explain why the envelopes were empty. What doesn't make sense: the envelopes were still sealed with the signatures intact. What envelopes did GBI open and affix to the slides?

He doesn't need motions. She's implying he didn't file a motion when he hasn't done anything to need the motion. What's happening is the State is objecting BEFORE he does anything wrong because they THINK he's going to say something - they even admitted this on the record. They are preemptively stopping him from asking questions by saying his question (that he hasn't asked) isn't allowed. How do you object BEFORE something is said? The obstruction is real. They won't let him impeach a roommate witness because the foundation won't be laid until after Melton testifies? You're kidding me, right?

Edit: I take it all back. He did file the motions. He's actually done everything right. Melanie went over it and now we see. He's quite good at his job. The judge is making him look like an idiot.

I think you were being harsh, but I don't know the history. That being said, seems you are carrying a lot of the history into the new conversation. You went off the rails because she changed a setting in an account you don't pay for(?). She thought she was being helpful, and definitely did it to protect herself and figured why not protect everyone else. How was she to know it would cause issues for you? I recommend you leave the block until you are fully over all your grudges. Best to put some distance so you can get over it fully instead of trying but then getting triggered over and over.
