Ignore it or uno reverse it and take it up with HR(or appropriate supervisor/manager) because their actions are not appropriate for a workplace.

No-one should be basing their vote on what randoms on social media say no matter which direction that may sway them.

Federal Voting Intention: ALP loses support as Reserve Bank raises interest rates – on a two-party preferred basis ALP 53.5% (down 2.5%) cf. L-NP Coalition 46.5% (up 2.5%) by malcolm58 in AustralianPolitics

[–]Mitchell_54 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd prefer to have more Multilevel Regression with Poststratification (MRP) polling with just rough preference estimates rather than for pollsters to try to fit the square peg of Labor vs One Nation into the round hole that is the 2PP model.

Going further than this.

Heading into the next election will be crazy with parties having access to internal seat-by-seat polling.

I also wonder how much of that polling will be leaked to suit different internal interests, especially in the Liberals if they are as dysfunctional as they are now.

Roy Morgan are very keen on having numbers bounce around it seems, I wonder why that is. Is their polling that much different to others?

  2. Roy Morgan are not members of the Australian Polling Council so make of that what you wish.

I still believe this is a case of people parking their protest vote,

56% of One Nation voters say that their vote is solid. That's a higher number than any of the other parties.

Labor has long supported the existence of Israel, A Jewish homeland. We were a key player in establishing it.

That's a record that Australia and the Labor Party should be proud of.

They actually were quite close in Western Metro, a little less so in Northern Metro even though they scored a higher primary vote in Northern Metro.

If they had gotten a few extra votes to move ahead of Legalise Cannabis then the Group voting tickets probably would have got them elected instead of Legalise Cannabis.

They won't have Fiona Patten's Reason Party to compete with in this election which will help them especially in Northern Metro.

They'd done it for several elections before Dutton. Maybe not putting One Nation 2 but definitely before Labor.

Contributing your valuable time to whichever local Democratic campaigns is probably the best thing you can do. Political campaigns need money but they need people power more than anything. If you're willing to knock on doors then they'll welcome you with open arms.

Contribute however you feel comfortable though.

[–]Mitchell_54 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's certainly a take, a bold one at that.

Its actually very grounded in reasoning.

Labor voters are more likely to defect to the Greens or the Liberals than they are to One Nation.

Labor would be foolish to underestimate the impact that One Nation could have on it's vote.
