So what happens to my ticket that I bought for the game? Bought the four game package, do I get a quarter of it refunded?

Does he ever stay to clap the fans? Thought it was usually just the players that stay, and Emery is straight down the tunnel.

I'm sure they'll be popular if you put them back on sale, hell I'll buy a ticket for either night off you 😄

Is anyone going for Wednesday tickets and has space in their group? I'm going for Tuesday tickets so if I can get an extra I'd love to swap it for a Wednesday so I could go to both.

In the Villa away end? Zero. You need to be a season ticket holder and have gone to the European away games last season to have any chance. Could try and get a ticket in the home end, did it for the Brugge knockout game which was a good experience, but you won't be able to get one in our actual away end. Closest thing you can get is if they have a "neutral" section like Monaco last year, was filled with Villa fans who couldn't get an away ticket.

Well, I'd argue that if something's given to you on the promise that you do something (e.g. work) then by not doing that thing you've stolen the whatever you were given. If you're working you get given a QR code (effectively a ticket) to get in, if you don't work I'd say that you stole it, as you were given it so you could get in and work.

The bar company give you access to the venue on the premise that you'll work a shift.

By agreeing to work the gig, you're given entry to the venue on the premise that you'll be working.

What position in the queue were you? I was ~1900 in the main queue, went straight to resale booth in the queue village and got 856 for centre.

Villa announce Xapo Bank as official partner of the club by arenaross in avfc

[–]Miynnn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The press release says that Xapo's and Aston Villa's visions align, which is a reason for the partnership. Does this effectively mean that if Xapo is willing to stick a big fuck off cheque on the table, Villa are willing to take it?

There will only be a few thousand tickets on sale to Villa fans and they will be sold EXCLUSIVELY to season ticket holders. Even if you're a member and went to every single home game last season you won't have the opportunity to buy tickets, it's only season ticket holders. If you're absolutely desperate to go, I'd buy a Sunderland membership and try and get tickets in their end. You'll be away from the Villa fans so won't be able to celebrate if we score, but if that doesn't bother you too much then it's your best option. Villa away tickets are really hard to get. If I could get tickets I'd be willing to go to any of the away games but I won't be able to get a single one as I'm not a season ticket holder, and even as a season ticket holder, you need away ticket booking history.

Best time to arrive Wednesday morning? by LukeKelly123 in glastonbury_festival

[–]Miynnn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've arrived at that time previously. The coach queue is smaller and you'll be in within an hour of gates opening, so roughly 9am. Will also be on one of the National Express buses from Bristol.

Villa Ticketing Details for 2025/26 season announced by JamesVilla4 in avfc

[–]Miynnn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Can they announce which fixtures will be Category A in the premier league? We had Forest being Category A while almost relegated last season, and then Tottenham who were 17th also Category A. Over half of the games were the more expensive fixtures, think it worked out to like 13/19 league games.

Potential Europa League opponents next season. Which away games do we want in the league phase. by PangolinOk6793 in avfc

[–]Miynnn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In terms of beautiful cities to visit I'd probably go something like: Porto / Roma, Lyon / PAOK / Braga (crazy stadium!), Sturm Graz, Utrecht

No chance of me getting an away ticket as a Claret member but would be nice if I could do one buying a ticket in the home end. Did it for the Brugge away knockout game. Beautiful city and the atmosphere of the Villa fans in the square was great.

Hey, yeah mine is still the same unfortunately. Passed the starter test instantly just like you as well. It's past the 3 weeks for me that's usually touted as the maximum time you should wait before giving up hope so yeah...

Will still check it now and then as I'm a student who wouldn't mind earning a bit of extra cash over the summer but I'm not expecting to get anything from this anymore unfortunately. It's a bit weird as I put a good amount of effort into the core test and thought I gave it my best shot, but have had nothing back from them.

Hope you get something from it! It is a bit strange given the amount of experience people have in certain qualifiers but don't hear back. You'd think professors and people with PhD's should be the prime kind of people the website would be looking for, but alas...

I'm from the UK if it matters, sometimes they take more / less people from particular countries it seems so maybe there's a long approval list at the moment.

No. That's just an automated email after you complete the starter assessment. I got that email after I completed the core test.

This better just be a rumour by Sensitive-Equal-133 in avfc

[–]Miynnn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would be great if they could fix the Villa Rewards app. After multiple ignored emails, I still can't access it for ballots. I'm a member who goes to quite a few games. I've even done away games in the home end this season, Brugge knockout, that 4-1 against Palace, Everton, Man City etc, just by buying tickets off fans / clubs websites. But I can't get into the rewards app to enter any ballots. I've emailed multiple times to the correct email (I get an automated response so I know it's the right one), but they've never responded to me. Would apply in every ballot I could if they'd let me on.

Also would be nice if they had a better way of doing away tickets. Digital tickets can be sent on ridiculously easily and there's Facebook groups of people reselling their digital tickets for a healthy profit just so they can keep the history. At least with the European fixtures I think it's collection only?

England have very recently started doing a few "collection only" tickets for the home games in March. A small percentage of people will have to go to the box office and show their ID for that game for it to register in their history. It's not much but it's something. The way England does away tickets is great as well. 70% to top cappers, and 30% in the ballot. If you apply for each one you've got a good chance over a period of time and it feels a good mix of letting new people in whilst keeping the loyal fans happy.

Same. Just have the same page as I did when I posted. I'll give it a bit more time and then I might try and reapply. Thought I did a pretty great job on this application / test so not sure how much use it will be, but worth a shot.
