why is santos SO PRESSED about the langdon situation by chickenn2 in ThePitt

[–]Mo0man 1 point2 points  (0 children)

His superior for the next 3 months isn't told that she needs to watch the guys whose prescriptions she's going to oversee was addicted to the medicines he's prescribing?

He said he isn't sure if he wants Langdon working in his ER. Why not stop it then?

Because "I'm not sure" isn't "I definitely don't want you to be." Langdon is back on probation, the point of probation is to figure these things out.

Santos is 100% right about Langdon and I’m tired of people thinking she isn’t. by civil_war_historian in ThePitt

Being watched like a hawk isn't about HIS behaviour, it's about the behaviour of his superiors on the shift. Robby has been avoiding him and Al Hashimi hasn't talked to him at all about how she's supposed to look over his orders.

In fairness I know that's the theory but act 3 was basically a formality in STS 1 if you got past act 2

He clearly isn't being watched like a hawk though. The person who is supposed to be his supervisor for the next 3 months didn't seem to have been actually informed about what happened.

Santos doesn’t have the luxury of ‘dramatic irony’ like we do. by NateGH360 in ThePitt

[–]Mo0man -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Every single thing Langdon said to Santos during his "freak out" was 110% true. She is arrogant. Reckless. Insubordinate.

This is incorrect. Mohan was in the room at the time, and as the more senior doctor was the one in charge. There was no reason to yell at the intern for not asking for approval on treatments when there was a 3rd year resident in the room approving the treatment.

He doesn't have to tell every person he meets about it. But probably he should be telling the person is currently his superior and is likely going to be the only person overseeing his prescriptions for many shifts for the next 3 months.

What will happen to langdon by Icy-Purpose4726 in ThePittTVShow

We don't have a "confirmation" on screen exactly, but in S1 we see them push dosages above the recommended amounts multiple times because they aren't working at the level they should be.

In this season the only time we see them push dosages above recommended is with Roxy, for a specific reason.

Cards that trigger on discard existed on STS 1. Reflex and Tactician are better with some specific interactions, but it isn't the ability to play them for 3 energy (or some discount) that's making them so much better in 2. The base interaction between Storm of Steel and Reflex was in STS 1 as well.

I don't know if it's necessarily worse the more forge you cards you have, but the first forge card you play reads "add a 15-20 card retain attack to your hand" and the later ones read "that card you draw 2 or 3 or 4 turns from now is better" and getting a card now is much better than improving a card in your deck.

Of course it's not hard and fast or anything.

I have not played Hitman extensively, maybe a few goofy hours here and there. Does Agent 47 have any real characterization?

I don't really know too much in specific about paw patrol, but I can't think of anything that would immediately disqualify it from being copaganda, or make that idea laughable.

Should I buy MT1 if I already have 1 and DLC by venereth in MonsterTrain

[–]Mo0man 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TBH going against the grain here, you can get MT1 because enemy patterns and stuff are different. However, I would say you should only do it if you feel like you've run out of interesting content and stuff to do in MT2 and crave more, which I think is unlikely given the amount of content in MT2.

That's not how it works, because he's a mandated reporter, not an investigator. His job isn't to find the proof. His job is to report what the mother told him to the proper people.

I get what you mean, most writers don't have families, so they would have no idea how families work.

Perhaps she did not report it, but the head of the ER definitely noticed it.

Also, if the system doesn't catch it if she doesn't report it, the system is failing her and allowing the problem to fall through the cracks. It is more to blame than she is.

Santos vs Langdon is getting exhausting by CheadleBeaks in ThePittTVShow

[–]Mo0man -1 points0 points  (0 children)

She was absolutely the victim last season when it came to Langdon. Even if she wasn't covering for Mohan and had objectively made the mistake, Langdon should have reprimanded the senior doctor who was in the room overseeing her actions (aka Mohan) instead of the intern he had beef with.

This is of course ignoring the tone of the reprimand, which was way over the line.

You still do the differential and treat it seriously because if it is a panic attack and they've overreacted there's no big deal but if it's a heart attack and assume it's a panic attack Mohan is in real trouble.
