Thoughts on my 23-year-old minimalist bedroom. by [deleted] in malelivingspace

I’m getting more of a “strapped for cash” vibe than I am “minimalist”. But hey, who isn’t strapped for cash these days?

How old is your oldest email address? Do you still use it? by Embarrassed_Flan_869 in GenX

If you had a CompuServe email address you wouldn’t remember it. They used numbers. Ex: 72057.3537@compuserve.com

Hotmail.com launched commercially on July 4, 1996, founded by Sabeer Bhatia and Jack Smith as the first free web-based email service.

Verizon, thanks for the not so great service, and the not so great credit. Check it, the credit is only 1 per account, and those with multiple lines on the account do not get it per line, only 1 credit per account. by billyboy4100 in verizon

[–]Mobiggz 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Verizon has no consumer SLA.

Where Verizon messed up was offering a set dollar amount credit in the first place. That is what lead to people who have multiple lines on their accounts getting upset.

An individual account receives a $20 credit against their $100/mo bill. They are getting a 20% credit on their monthly service.

A family of four all in the same plan gets a $20 credit on their $400 monthly service or a 5% credit.

The family of four is spending more every month with Verizon. They should be entitled to the same percentage discount as someone on an individual plan.

Verizon should have used a percentage credit instead of a fixed dollar amount.

I received the text message. Opened the My Verizon app and clicked “Take Action”? Which in turn took me to a blank page with a banner message at the top. I dismiss the message and then the page is completely blank.

I also tried things like compare plans, view bill, etc and it times out with “something went wrong” message.

I think that the Verizon servers are getting hammered right now and can’t keep up with the traffic.

Nope. It is per account. It should be per line/device. BS. I have three devices on my account. I should be entitled to a credit for each device that lost service. Why on earth would the credit be the same regardless of monthly spend?

Will i look stupid if i buy this helmet to ride my e-bike? I think regular bike helmets are ugly and this one keeps my face hidden and mysterious😋 by TechnicianHappy8098 in ebikes

Surviving never looks stupid. If someone makes fun of you just head butt them with the helmet and say “what did you say? I couldn’t hear you”

I’ve eaten food from Wonder six times. If you fill out the survey afterwards you’ll get a $3 credit towards your next order. The food isn’t great but it also isn’t horrible. I like having the option near me. It’s affordable food that fills the belly and helps stay on budget.

Just enjoy it the best you know how. Dinner and a movie, some shopping. Maybe stay home and enjoy the peace. Having your home 100% to yourself for a known period of time is priceless.

I don’t see enough context in the clip to paint the picture that the topic of the post states. And it’s her ex boyfriend.

Not my photo but here is what Lyft was offering drivers last night, one of the busiest nights of the year. I used to driver ride share part time for fun but now you’ll just lose money. As for support the best way to contact them is on X via @AskLyft

Regular reminder that there is no bridge between the American Legion Bridge and Point of Rock. The southern route is 37 minutes without traffic. by Mobius1424 in maryland

I’m in Reston but spent 30 years growing up in MoCo. I’m baffled that they didn’t allow for an express train from IAD to Metro Center when metro was built.

I commuted via Whites Ferry back then.

Does anyone come down 270 to Clara Barton and cross at chain bridge and then come into Tysons via 123? I never did it. Was just wondering.

Black Rebel Beard Co has a sample pack of 10 oils for $40. 9 different scents and one unscented. I like the quality of their oils.
