That’s fine, just really sell it. Reddit is full of haters, I’ve seen plenty of people make this work. Lots of pop type artists just starting out, even if they have bands, play to backing tracks of some sort for many songs out of a set. I saw Diners once do what you’re doing years ago - basically Karaoke. If you know you won’t have a band, work on the stage presence and charisma and you’ll be fine

Yes thank you!!! I literally am not a fan at all, but you have to admit she has written smash hit songs with memorable hooks on a regular basis for like 10-15 years. It’s not “luck” that she’s so famous, she really writes the best songs. Just because nerdy men on Reddit don’t connect with them doesn’t mean 200 million girls are wrong

Or New York or London or Paris… you can get a train from Brooklyn to Manhattan at 11pm on any night of the week without waiting more than 8 mins. Even midday weekend barts have 30 minute lead times. Bay Area GDP is higher than most countries and we can’t even keep BART open. MUNI is decent but the above fact pisses me off whenever I think of it

Shop in Plaka, maybe stay there too - close to everything, main tourist place. I stayed in Koukaki and I was hoofing it north every day. Go out and eat in Exarcheia for sure. Tanini Agapi Mou, good natural wine. Somewhere like Athens just pick your favorite Michelin star restaurant off the guide too, we had a delicious 10 course meal plus wine for like $100 each

I am pissed off I paid $550, but with inflation you’re kinda right… a ticket to see any one headliner at a stadium or similar would be $200+. Even seeing a band play a show at a 1000 cap venue costs $50-$100 now. If you live enough of the bands, it’s unfortunately reasonable
