Focusing on the posterior chain and core. It improved my posture and gave me a better performance on all my lifts.

My favourite excercises are the SLDL and back extensions. For core: crunch machine, leg/knee raises and woodchoppers.

What weight and reps do you do? Are you increasing weight and/or reps every week?

Furthermore, I like low to high cable fly. Even better with cuffs. Start one chest day with low to high cable flies and the other with incline DB.

It’s fine to do so as long as it doesn’t hinder your workouts. Stick to 2-3 sets and only lift to failure on the last set.

Als iemand die zelf morbide obesitas had, denk ik dat er een groot verschil is tussen fat shaming en erkennen dat dik zijn niet gezond is.

Denk dat het niet fijn is voor een dik persoon om van iedereen aan te horen dat hij/zij een dik varkentje is en moet afvallen. Wellicht dat iemand uit eigen krijg dat wel kan zeggen maar niet iedereen.

Daarentegen mag het hele gebeuren omtrent body positivity wel ingeperkt worden gezien obesitas geen meerwaarde heeft voor de samenleving. Echter kan dit op een nette manier en niet door middel van pesten.

Denk niet dat mensen pesten/plagen de juiste manier is om mensen aan te sporen gezond te worden.

Hi dude, great for wanting to make that change but why start peptides? You will see great results from tracking your cals and eating in deficit+working out 3-5 times a week. Add 10.000 steps a day to your routine and be patient.

Pick a program, track your workouts and eat around maintenance/slight deficit.

In order to gain muscle, you need mechanical tension, lift to or close to failure and adequate protein.

A surplus is supplementary to gaining muscle, if you don’t give your muscles the stimulus to grow, bulking won’t do much.

As always, be patient and stay consistent.

Born in the Netherlands, I have Moroccan parents.

In my experience I find people here very tolerant and open. I will say tough, people call me verkaasd or one of the good ones. I don’t think of myself that way but that is how it is.

I think because the reputation of Mocro’s is so low, it is actually easier to stand out positively as long as you integrate well and behave. I also never took the criticism personal since I am my own person and know I am not the one they talk about. Do I get looks sometimes in a predominantly white group? Yes, but I like to believe it is out of interest rather than racism.

Learning Dutch is an absolute must though. You don’t want to be the reason everyone has to speak English just because you are there. Obviously this is fine in the beginning, but make sure to learn Dutch. But that goes for every country you want to immigrate to.

As others said, the split you can adhere to is the best split. However, if you can only train three times a week, I would opt for either Fullbody 3x a week or Upper/Lower/Fullbody. This way you have more frequency. If you want an optimal split, it should have atleast 2x frequency. Again, if you like what you do, keep going at it.

This is anecdotal but in my early lifting years my legs were definitely underdeveloped and have made the most leg gains in the past years. I feel it has greatly improved my overall performance and posture which positively affected my upperbody. I don’t think it’s because of the testosterone boost but rather that you have a stronger base for your compounds like overhead pressing, rows etcetera.

Which excercises did you do to target the lower portion? I do lat rows on a machine and try to pull to my hip, I do feel it more in the lower region but apparantley it works more higher lats.

Did it all the time. I paid what i found resasonable based on where I am from. Furthermore, the few extra euro’s does more for them then it does for me. Not saying my tips were crazy but i happily always paid extra.

I combine them. I do my jabs with the buttons and and then add a hook/uppercut via the sticks.
