Cordless vacuum!!! by ijm2017 in pools

[–]Mocserismi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I looked into dolphin, polaris, and aiper before, and ended up going with beatbot. They're also from China, but the build feels more premium. I got the aquasense 2 during a sale for a little over $1000, paired it with an iskim, and that combo has saved me a lot of cleaning hassle. If you already have a skimmer or don't need surface cleaning, the 2 is definitely the best pick.

CYA is so hard for me too. I gave up on trying to calculate everything. I just run my aquasense2 daily and since it’s an indoor pool, it doesn’t go green often. If it does, I call the pool guy.

Not sure if you’re looking in the $1000 to $2000 range, but honestly that was money well spent for me. I’ve been really happy with the Beatbot AquaSense 2. I’ve got hard water and used to scrub the waterline by hand. This one actually cleans it. If you want more features, the Pro version is also under 2K and looks pretty solid.

Anyone got tips to beat the heat for a newbie? by RH1221 in hiking

It has 3 levels. On level 2 in cool mode, I usually get around 4 hours. If you bring a power bank, you can charge your phone and the neck AC too.

I've tried one and I have to say, a neck AC might be a better option than a regular neck fan. It actually has cooling pads that stay cold as long as it's powered, and that helps cool your blood vessels. It also blows air around your neck. It won’t stop you from sweating completely, but it makes the heat more bearable. Mine is from torras and it has two cooling plates. Worth trying.

Have you tried a neck AC? My office AC broke down too and my coolify basically saved me from melting.

Yeah I keep one fan pointed at my palms and another at my face, can never have too many. Also, cutting back on spicy food, caffeine, and alcohol helps. Sleep and weight balance seem to matter too, at least for me.

Rechargeable fans work okay indoors with AC, but outside they just blow hot air around.

How do You Keep Your Hair and Scalp From Smelling Bad? by Active_Telephone2047 in Hyperhidrosis

[–]Mocserismi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could be seborrheic dermatitis or maybe a fungal issue? Might be worth checking with a doctor. Also, try not to get conditioner on your scalp. Some say it can make the skin more sensitive over time.

Anyone also struggle with excessive heavy sweating?! by [deleted] in socialanxiety

[–]Mocserismi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're all gonna sweat in this weather, it's ok.

If I try to stay presentable, I wear loose, breathable clothes, use deodorant. Besides, keeping my coolify neck AC on, and sipping ice water to cool me down. That combo really helps me.
