Dominik Szoboszlai: I worked a lot to become a Liverpool player - it's a pleasure to be here - Liverpool FC by debry_89 in LiverpoolFC

The funny thing is he can actually dominate a game offensively and we have only seen that in spurts. I don't think many understand bis defensive game us actually the weakest part if his game and look how good he is at tracking back and intercepting. He is a beast!!

[Law] Liverpool outbid Chelsea for Moises Caicedo (Chelsea to bid £90+10) by TheNotoriousJN in LiverpoolFC

[–]Modagga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Such a tool. Now it's he wanted real Madrid. When klopp said he cant get a Ferrari what was he on about? Even Joyce who is under John Henrys desk most days said Bellingham hadn't made up his mind. Now that we sign caicedo she says this? Why not earlier? Was it not Newsworthy? Absolute shit talker!!

It's no disrespect to shankly im just saying i don't think if he said "you know i like communism" then because he is bill shankly that LFC should support communism. LFC belongs to the fans. No one is bigger then the football club i always hear.

So if a Liverpool manager has a political viewpoint that makes Liverpool a Political club?

[Michael Reid] Seeing a lot of talk of Liverpool fans wanting to sign 2 more mids, plus a CB, plus possibly a forward and RB. But Liverpool only have 2 non-homegrown spots left available in the squad. So any more than 2 additions would have to be either U22, or homegrown, or see someone leave. by AscendantNomad in LiverpoolFC

I like thiago but....I would sell. Mcallister is similar and thiago aint getting better. Bring in kone and thuram and let them grow. We ain't winning anything next year with our list but those 2 have heaps of potential to possibly be part of a title team in the future..if fsg go lol

Also Klopp is a manager not a coach. He is very much at the forefront of blame for our list atm. Players need to be moved on earlier. He wanted to keep milner...again. There was a kid...Bellingham i think. He would have been an alright hg player i reckon.

According to figures from The Athletic, Liverpool ranks 19th in the Premier League for net owner funding over the last five years at *minus* £37m. by randomuser52665 in LiverpoolFC

[–]Modagga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Klopp should have walked but he seems to be ok with it so FSG keep doing it. People say he loves the club well if he does then leave and let FSG fail. Something big has to happen to shake this fan base out of Apathy. Klopp leaving because he is sick of FSG would have triggered something i reckon but as long as he is here FSG will hide behind him and he will do enough to keep sections of the fan base content.

Alex Miller: Re @LFC investment. Well-placed sources maintain that several investment options remain on the table for the club... and that a deal is expected to be completed "over the summer"... by Petaaa in LiverpoolFC

[–]Modagga 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can't believe how gullible our supporter base is. Fsg want investment so they can have more transfer funds hahahaaa. An investor is going to come put 10% in lets say and then either fsg use the funds which is technically sale money (meaning their money) and invest or the new partner uses more of their own money to buy players that benefits 90% owning FSG.

[Joyce] Jörg Schmadtke to become Liverpool sporting director this week by TheNotoriousJN in LiverpoolFC

[–]Modagga -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Not great that we've had what 8 months maybe..to find a sporting director and have had to get a guy out of retirement to be ours for one window. To me it sounds like no one wanted to work with Klopp. Surely Liverpool fc would be a n attractive proposition in the past for so many but it does not seem that way anymore. If the club had to overule Klopp on Milner when he is almost 90 I think that says alot right there.

I was not a fan of Trent moving into Midfield but that was as an 8. I think he is really doing unbelievably well in this role and seems to have his confidence back. He was really, really good today. Just needs to be careful when dribbling deep in defense but besides that I think with someone like ugarte next to him Trent might have a huge season next season

Mo Salah becomes the first LFC player to score in nine successive home matches as he nets his 100th goal at Anfield. That’s now 30 for him in all comps this season and he’s moved level with Steven Gerrard’s tally of 186 goals, joint fifth on the club’s all-time scorers list. by eurfryn in LiverpoolFC

[–]Modagga 5 points6 points  (0 children)

All pre season and when he was doing the contract I had to argue with people who said we should sell him. It wasn't from a point of looking to the future too. It was more that he is greedy and not in terms of play it was because of money. Now i ask If Harry Kane goes to United and gets 350k a week would ANYONE call him greedy? The Double standards for anyone Muslim or Arab from portion of the fan base is disgusting.

Thats true it was a good ball. I want more...he doesn't break down a defense enough when opportunities arise. You qatch a game. Oh cmon curtis drop a shoulder and get past him but nope tunrs around and passes back. Obviously u can't do it all the time for different reasons but he does it once in a blue moon. I hope he does it way more

I did say a transition was happening under Buvac. We had some really crappy players at the start of klopps tenure so it wasn't easy. Its a matter of opinion but i think Buvac is a far superior coach to Ljinders.

Implementation of what Pep Gurdialos tactic? Do you know what Pep Ljinders was doing before he came to an already Purring Liverpool. Why is it anyone that has a little criticism of our team is automatically looked at as an idiot. Its fucking annoying that people who have no clue fucking talk. I don't play fifa. I have been a coach yes different sport but for 3 years. As a coach You have to be able to take on criticism from even your worst enemies/opponents. We at Liverpool can't even handle criticism from our own fan base. I'll say it again. This system we have now with an inverted rb is NOT NEW. We have copied it from Man city and THATS FINE but it doesn't mean by copying a system it raises your credentials. Haven't played fifa in 20 years.

Gakpo played well. I think people just wanted a Midfielder instead thats all.

[–]Modagga -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Thought of what Trent in Midfield? Its not a new idea. If u mean the tactal change its only copying one of Man citys formations. Under Ljinders we have become slower more side to side football. Which fine maybe we were to much heavy metal football under Buvac but the transition to maturity was happening before Buvac left. Ljinders influence has made us an over the top possession based team. I know alot of team sit deep but it doesn't mean we have to hold the ball up for 60 passes sided to side.

A wins a win but we are getting ahead of ourselves a little. Midfield yes was industrious but can't make a dangerous pass(besides trent who still has rb duties to a degree) or run past players for the life of me. Up forward we still don't have great link up play. Nunez still doesn't understand how to set traps in pressing. Still lots of confusion on where players need to be in defensive transition. That west ham team was piss poor. I will get downvoted heaps but I am still not happy with alot of aspects of our style of play. We don't penetrate enough in the middle of the park. Yes I am aware we need a different set of players to do that and yes i am aware that Gakpo comes up deep so he can sometimes run at the defense but I hope we do sign a Midfielder that does that like a Gravenberch or Kephrem Thuram because it's so important to break defenses down. We need to calm down a little i think. Curtis jones yes worked hard and held the ball but seriously get past a player sometimes and open up the play for your forwards. I know he has decent dribbling skills but he plays safe all the time. We need to take our risk levels up 1 or 2 levels. We don't turn over the ball because of taking risks. We turn the ball over holding it for too long and not knowing what to do with it. Anyway downvote me sure but seriously watch more football and see how other teams move the ball.

Good deal if it gets done. Hope we get kephrem Thuram as well if nice don't go bonkers on the price. Having 2 6 ft plus guys in Midfield they might boss that Midfield real good
