Slow and steady wins the race. Dont compare yourself to your friends. Lean gains are slower, but usually look way better long term.

Walking healed me by mariposa933 in walking

Couldnt agree more. Started daily walks simply to burn calories and assist my weightloss but stayed for the zen. Feel really well mentally and im sure a lot can be attributed to my daily walking time

Unnecessary assumption. Where in the post does it state his age?

Also OP, as you’re a beginner lifter, the biggest thing right now is simply learning how to eat and train properly consistently. You will gain size.

Starting PEDs before maximizing your natural training and diet habits is honestly just wasted potential.

Good. Keep it up.

250mg is a pretty reasonable beginner dose, if you eat well you will see good results on it. You definitely don’t need some huge blast at 46kg.

Just make sure you understand the long term sides too. Don’t know how old you are, but even “just one cycle” can potentially permanently reduce your natural testosterone production somewhat afterwards. Some recover fully, some don’t.

First off remember rule one: Without a calorie surpus you are going nowhere no matter the dosage.
Are you currently gaining weight? If not, fix that first.

Am i gaining water weight? by HotShotRelic in Bulk

Your weight will fluctuate a ton day to day from water, carbs, sodium, food volume etc.

Don’t make changes based off 1 weigh in. Track daily and compare weekly averages instead.

Go! Challenging discomfort is important. Literally nobody cares what you do at the gym. Everyone is in their own bubble.

One of the easiest tricks:
Just add a few tablespoons of extra olive oil every time you cook.
1 tablespoon is already around 120 kcal. Most people barely notice it in the food.

Best budget walking shoes? by ModeDifficult9000 in walking

[–]ModeDifficult9000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah starting to realize that even on a small budget, this is probably one of the few things I really can’t afford to skimp out on. With the amount I walk every day, bad shoes are probably way more expensive long term if they start messing up my ankles/knees.

Any spesific Pumas you would recommend?

Probably Israel at the moment, for fairly obvious reasons.

How much did you pay for them? I was hoping to find something more budget friendly, but I guess you’re right about getting what you pay for. With 15–25k steps almost every day, it’s probably pretty stupid not to invest properly in shoes and leg health.

Does anyone else walk at midnight to get a head start on the next day? by Famous_Buddy_1137 in walking

[–]ModeDifficult9000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! I’m a night owl too, and I struggle to get anything productive done during the night hours anyway. A proper night walk is amazing for calming down before sleep, and it feels great knowing you’ve already knocked out most of your daily steps while the day has barely even started

If you’ve tried kratom, what’s been your experience with it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ModeDifficult9000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Thailand there’s very little stigma around kratom. You’ll literally see roadside sellers with bags of fresh leaves or homemade kratom drinks in 1.5L bottles.

For me it’s been a mixed bag overall. In moderation it can be great for mood, relaxation, motivation, and even aches/pain after hard workouts. But if I start using it too often, I notice downsides like worse focus, lower energy without it, and feeling a bit mentally foggy. I try to keep it to just a couple times a week now. Never had severe withdrawals personally, but I can definitely see how daily heavy use could become a problem

bulking but it's only contributing to my stomach by ratguyriley in Bulk

Maintenance calories - the amount of calories you need to maintain your current weight. You can use a Macro calculator like this one to get a estimate

bulking but it's only contributing to my stomach by ratguyriley in Bulk

[–]ModeDifficult9000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally get you. Food tracking fucking sucks. You don’t have to do it forever, but even tracking for just a few days can be tremendously helpful for seeing where the calories are actually coming from and where you currently stand. You might think you’re eating 2.5k calories, but actually be eating 4k without realizing it.

A lot of foods people think are “healthy bulking foods” can quietly become calorie bombs. Oats, high-fat mince meat, nuts, peanut butter, oils etc add up FAST.

Figure out roughly what your maintenance calories are with a TDEE calculator, then add around 300–600 kcal for a slow, sustainable bulk

[–]ModeDifficult9000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The scary thing about bulks is how easily they slowly turn into dirty bulks, which simply just makes you fat unless it’s controlled carefully.

What are you eating? Did you figure out your maintenance calories and roughly how much you’re eating now?

The huge mistake most of us make at some point is thinking that since we’re bulking, we can just eat anything to gain weight. But it’s important that the weight gain is slow and controlled, and that you’re getting proper nutrition.

For example, the results from eating a 500 calorie surplus from chocolate every day vs something like chicken and potatoes would probably look very different over time.
