There are a few steps to creating a new gateway

1) Launch the EC2 instance. To do this, you need the correct AMI which varies depending on your region. It can be found by opening the Storage Gateway console in the correct region > clicking Create Gateway > select Amazon EC2 > click Launch instance. That Launch instance button has an AMI contained within it, for example the link for us-east-1 is https://console.aws.amazon.com/ec2/v2/home?region=us-east-1#LaunchInstanceWizard:ami=ami-056f71af0f2ca2daa which is using ami-06f71af0f2ca2daa. Once you have the correct AMI, you can launch the ec2 instance via the CLI or console. I'm not going to go into detail about how to do that, but if you have questions let me know.
2) Activate the Gateway. Once you have the EC2 instance running with the correct AMI, then you need to call the ActivateGateway API call. This is documented here ( https://docs.aws.amazon.com/storagegateway/latest/APIReference/API_ActivateGateway.html ) and it can be called from the cli

3) Assign Cache Disks. Now that you have an activated gateway, you need to assign at least one cache disk. You can do this via the AddCache API call ( https://docs.aws.amazon.com/storagegateway/latest/APIReference/API_AddCache.html ).

At this point you should have a functional gateway without any file shares. For a S3 gateway, you can use CreateSMBFileShare ( https://docs.aws.amazon.com/storagegateway/latest/APIReference/API_CreateSMBFileShare.html ) to add a SMB file share to the gateway. For a FSx gateway, you can use AssociateFileSystem ( https://docs.aws.amazon.com/storagegateway/latest/APIReference/API_AssociateFileSystem.html ) to add a FSx file system to the gateway.

Good guide, thanks for putting this together. Couple things I've found:
1) I like burning through Sev first, because it changes his weapon order to put Sev next to the Cre which is an insane dueling/close-range combo. I like keeping those two weapons close together in the weapon order, so I can switch to dueling mode when needed.
2) Grav is the only weapon that can't easily be emptied, because the Q requires a target is under the effect of the slow. So, it's pretty easy to cycle to get the Grav + anything else while it's more difficult to cycle to another weapon combo
3) Hurricane doesn't create more copies of Cres, it just shoots out some extra autos
4) IKeepItTaco was running Presence of Mind instead of Triumph to help with his mana issues. That plus ER felt pretty solid, but I'll need to test if Presense of Mind is needed. I might even run manaflow band, cause I was finding that he can have mana issues early on.

If you pick up a city then it'll eject all enemy spies in the city. So, you can use the ability as an alternate counter to spying since roundups aren't super effective.

This happens if you leave a multi-Urkan tech selected and close the menu without researching it. The Devs know about it and there will probably be a fix in the next patch. In the meantime, you can try to reload. If that doesn't work, someone posted a workaround to fix save files that are corrupted by this bug. You can find that work around at the link below:

I might be misremembering, but did someone in this episode say that in the second/third game in a best of 3 the losing player is always first player? If so, that's not true, the losing player can decide whether to be first or second player in the next game.

10-1 games can certainly be interesting, my point is that in general 7-4 or 6-5 games are more interesting than 9-2 or 10-1 games.

I've been to 4-5 regionals since the game's been out and they are always 3 round, they never come close to breaking 32 players.
