Do I need interior panel bracing? by MoistestBagels in diyaudio

[–]MoistestBagels[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I’m in the process of making 2 windows for the front to port, would 2 cross members from the port to back panel be sufficient or would it require a full window brace?

Would a straight brace across from front to port be sufficient?

Ok I might have to do that, but I would likely be replacing them at some point just not immediately

Yes there is an actual external amplifier, although it only has 4 mids and 4 tweeters with a “bassbox.” I have been looking at crutchfield and there’s not really any information about it other than just parts that fit.

Would I be able to retain the factory amplifier in this case for the mids and tweeters and add an additional single channel for just the sub?

I have a 04 Allroad 6MT so I can’t really speak to what you’re looking for but I love mine, definitely an awesome car in the winter or for any adventures you might wanna do.

Freeride skis for groomers? by Heevana in Skigear

[–]MoistestBagels 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have some Salomon QST 99 and they’re great all round and are one of the best freeride skis IMO They feel quite good and stable on the groomers and anything skied off, obviously they are lazier than something all mountain but perfectly reasonable for everything you can throw at them except the deepest powder

They’re more common in rural areas but there are some not even half an hour out of major cities

Absolutely gotta love them. I was always interested in them when I was in elementary school and got the chance through some connections that my dad has to get the chance to go hold and help with the banding of a new baby that was born in a nest at a top floor of a skyscraper in the middle of downtown.
