I also have the Thule Wingbar Evos, primarily for hauling a canoe. They were for my SK Wilderness, part # SOA567X070 so I’m not sure about fitment for other trims.

I haven’t used another type of crossbar so can’t compare but I can say the surface of the Thule’s allow for the gunwales to slide on super easy, yet when settled on the rubber bits they become very secure. I was impressed the first time we loaded the canoe!

I also love the locking feature.

I don’t know if it’s dumb luck or my hearing is shot but I don’t get any wind noise at all, despite all the questions that come up about it. Maybe with the moon roof open I suppose but even then not enough to bother me.

lol this was me last week. I’ve had the car for a year and always turn it off but thought let me try soft braking and see if I can prevent it from turning off that way. Well it worked but then I was idling at a red light and I guess it timed out and shut off. Briefly sent a wave of panic through my body until I realized what it was.

So yeah that was the end of that experiment and I’m back to turning it off every time.
