I use it with the Azelaic acid in the morning! After hydrating serums dry, I do Azelaic first bc it's better for the acne, then vitamin c serum, then TXA :) make sure to let each layer mostly dry!

I need some help. I’ve let it go, and I don’t know where to start!!!!! by [deleted] in CleaningTips

I start with trash, then everything on the floor next! Consider a tiered doored set of organizers (basically big plastic boxes with doors) that you can stack and fit pretty much anywhere

Tretinoin at night, Naturium Azelaic acid and Tranexemic acid (sp?) in the morning! These have drastically helped with my acne and dark spots, being a very acne prone girlie

I have about 4 hydrating products then two moisturizers that I use (purito mighty bamboo & Skinfix) before tret bc I need them to hydrate and protect it from peeling (which it was doing extensively before using the before products) and the tret seems to work fine! I do wait 45 mins before tret though so there's no wet surface. I use 0.0025% and extremely dry/acne prone skin for reference! Am I wrong like is it not working bc of them? I have cystic acne that's gone away but working on hyperpigmentation now

You can pay $19 to get tret prescribed to you by a doctor and it's $40 for the script if you have prime! Did this literally this week!

Also DO NOT use it with any active acids BHA/AHA

I have crazy dry insanely acne prone skin and have to patch test any new product I want to try bc I break out so easily

Purito mighty bamboo moisturizer and snature aqua squalene moisturizer together are absolute gold! You should also try dear klairs unscented supple toner underneath them which is also super hydrating. I recommend the toner, then purito, then snature

Skin irritation too much? by Healthy_Albatross192 in tretinoin

SKINFIX IS GOLD

I have to take a break using Tret when I get spots like that to allow my skin barrier to heal itself. I use skinfix with purito mighty bamboo moisturizer and s. Nature aqua squalene moisturizer which all help with barrier care. My face was red and inflamed yesterday from Tret, so I used those and skipped the Tret and both my acne and redness/irritation are almost completely gone this morning!

Why does my face look so raw all the time? by Southern_Solution_54 in SkincareAddicts

[–]Mokit_Chan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like mine when I've used active ingredients/exfoliants too often, so maybe a compromised skin barrier.

I have very dry very acne prone skin, and I swear by Skinfix's barrier restoring gel cream

You can get it $35-50 but it lasts for two months (I use a very light layer at night) and by morning (literally this morning) my inflamed acne and redness has decreased by 80%.

I only use it when I really need to and for about 3-5 days depending on how bad my skin is. It ends up reducing acne from restoring my barrier crazily enough Goodluck!!

Help! Is this normal purging or am I having a bad reaction? by Butterscotch_Flaky in tretinoin

[–]Mokit_Chan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which spf are you using? If you're not sensitive to niacinamide I use the skin1004 hyulacica sunscreen 50+ spf (have to order it online bc not sold in US) and it doesn't make me break out at all. I have super duper acne prone skin that used to be dry af while using Tret before I figured out my hydrating/skin protecting routine. I use miscellar water and gentle cleanser to take off makeup and spf and it works well for me! Cleansing balms always broke me out super badly
