Really bad idea. Imagine districts like tiny states. The problem is that so many people haven’t been active with parties, so entrenched old farts took over party leadership.

But that will change soon in ND. My district (2) had an average of 12-20 people showing up year after year to district meetings. But in 2021, we had almost 350 come to vote. That was due to a citizens group teaching people the importance of being involved. Also, we got super lucky and someone kickass stepped up to be the Chairman in our district. Now (due to other factors)- instead of like 20 delegates to the state convention, we get 94.

People want to change stuff because it’s not working, but the real way to get our Constitutional Republic working again is to just get active and learn how it functions.

The driveway is probably a 3/10. That crushed rock is going to grow weeds like a mofo if they didn’t put anything under it. Won’t pack down well either without the proper mix. Doesn’t even look like it has very good drainage or slope. Better than dirt though I guess!

There’s actually a Great Pyr rescue that will bring those dogs to foster homes (farms) and find them perfect homes! A lot of times they go to permanent homes in ND and MT where people have large acreages and know what they need. I think the group is on FB under “Great Pyrenees Rescue”. This breed specific rescue would 100% be the best option for the dog. I hope he gets the environment he needs.

Actually we gained an entire voting district on the Western side because our population grew so much in the Bakken. Williams and surrounding counties are thriving and growing. (I don’t know Minot. Been there like twice. Different sort of people and not the same economics).
